As we approached his table, Vincent Gabel was just getting up to make his way to the rail. He told us the details of his exit hand.
Gabel ended up in a three-bet squeezed multiway pot with suited and flopped a flush draw on . After several checks it was Chino Rheem making a bet of 3,200. Gabel called, but another player behind him now squeezed to 12,000. Chino Rheem folded, Gabel made the call once more.
An off suit on the turn saw Gabel shove his last 16,000 into the already sizable pot. His opponent tanked long and hard but eventually called with for top set. Gabel needed some help on the river, but the blank didn't fill up his flush and he departed as one of the first players today.
Gabel qualified for this event in a live satellite, and was determined to reenter.

All of them checked on and the popped up on the river. Big blind Simon Deadman bet out 1,200 and Van den Bijgaart was quick to fold. Van den Bijgaart's neighbor Felipe Ramos called, hijack Morten Mortensen called, and the player in the cutoff folded.
Three-way up to the river as the completed the board. Deadman bet out 4,100 and Ramos contemplated what to do for a bit before calling. Mortensen over called.
Deadman was quick to let the other players know he didn't have much of anything. He silently mucked his cards and Ramos showed for the straight. Mortensen mucked his, what we believe was, .

The completed the board and Van Veen checked. Refos silently glanced at his own stack, studied Van Veen's stack, and carefully tossed in three 5,000-chips for a bet of 15,000.
Van Veen wasn't too happy about all of this, and at one point let out a small sigh. He tanked for some time before eventually mucking his cards.
Refos let out a big smile and showed while raking in the chips.
"You dare huh?" said WPT Amsterdam 2015 and WPT Tournament Of Champions winner Farid Yachou.
