Conan Times Two

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Il Dieko Rati Vale and Marius Conan met twice and the young Frenchman scooped both pots. First Conan three-bet an open-raise by the Spaniard from 800 to 2,300 and Rati Vale called before the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop was checked through. On the {Q-Clubs} turn, Rati Vale checked and folded to a bet of 2,200 by Conan.

Rati Vale also check-called a bet of 3,300 soon after on the river of a board {J-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and mucked when the Frenchman showed {J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a full house. Marius' slightly older brother Artur also recently sat down and doubled up right away with {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} versus {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} after spiking a flush on the river.

Reard Faces Spanish Big Stacks

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante
Aurelie Reard
Aurelie Reard

Aurelie Reard started well into the day but has since dropped back to almost where she started with. In a recent hand Reard opened to 750 and picked up no fewer than three callers including Javier on the button and both players in the blinds.

The four players checked down the {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and the {3-Hearts} turn before Javier's bet on the {3-Diamonds} river for 2,700 won the pot without resistance. While Javier has a decent stack already, his fellow countryman "jos" has even more than that over in the three seat.

Francois Tosques Eliminated

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante
Francois Tosques
Francois Tosques

A Spaniard that goes by the nickname of mike4895 raised to 750 and Francois Tosques three-bet to 2,200, which the Spaniard called. On the {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, mike4895 checked and called a bet of 1,800 by Tosques before the {9-Spades} appeared on the turn. Again it went check, bet - in this case all in for 6,000 by Tosques, and call.

Francois Tosques: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
mike4895: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

The river brought no miracle and the PMU.fr Team Pro was eliminated, but may still re-enter until the start of level nine.

Rami on Board

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Moroccan Rachid Rami, who won the 2016 PMU.fr WPT National here at the Casino de Marrakech, was just involved in a three-way pot to the flop of {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and checked first to act. The hijack bet 2,000 and picked up a single caller while Rami got out of the way.

There was no action on the {10-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} river, and the hijack scooped the pot with {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Rami has just above the starting stack and nothing much happened thus far.

How Trarieux Got a Big Stack

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

On a table with Anthony Cruz, Isabel Baltazar, Remi Castaignon and Ludovic Riehl (runner-up of the DeepStack and winner of another previous Side Event), it is Xavier Trarieux that leads the charge. Before the break he was involved in a four-bet pot and check-called a bet of his sole opponent on the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop before the {Q-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Trarieux faced a bet of 7,000 and and raised to put his opponent at risk for 25,000 with a set of queens while the opponent only had {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} for two pair.

Soon after, Castaignon three-bet to 2,000 and folded to a four-bet to see Trarieux flip over {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

Khlifi Takes from Lakhdari

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

"I am not as crazy as you and don't call an all in with king-queen," Omar Lakhdari said to Ayoub Khlifi when facing the shove of the Moroccan and being shown king-jack off suit only.

The next hand, Lakhdari raised to 700 and Khilifi called, as did High Roller champion Aleksandras Voisnis in the big blind. On the {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, Voisnis checked and subsequently folded to a bet of 800 by Lakhdari, while Khlifi called. The {K-Spades} turn brought another bet of 3,000 and a call before Lakhdari check-called a bet of 2,400 on the {4-Hearts} river.

Khlifi showed {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush and bumped up his short stack. The same table also features Malek Grabsi in the two seat to make for an interesting table draw.
