Scott Makes Good Call

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the turn of a {3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board Majid Ejlal Noubarian fired a bet of 1,125 and Kara Scott called to see the {9-Clubs} river. Noubarian now bet 2,050 - Scott didn't particularly like this but after a minute she made the call and Noubarian was forced to show {K-Spades}{4-Spades} for a missed flush draw. Scott picked up the pot with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a full house.

The Reveal Bet from Hairabedian

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Roger Hairabedian from France is on his second bullet today having busted Day 1a. Coca Valeriu from Moldova was his opponent in this hand. Valeriu was in the small blind and had checked to Hairabedian on a board of {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Hairabedian bet 4,000 and Valeriu called. The river was {a-Spades} and Valeriu checked.

Hairabedian thought about what to do and messed around with his chips. He cupped both hands over an unknown amount and slid them over the line. He paused there for a moment. What was he up to? He lifted his hands, almost as if he were a magician, to reveal a bet of 12,000. Valeriu didn’t seem to give it too much thought before he called, but when he saw Hairabedian’s {K-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the flopped boat he slammed his remaining stack of 11,500 on the table in disgust.

Cahaf Exit

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Ognjen Sekularac has just knocked out Riad Cahaf, a simple case of {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} being too much for Cahaf's {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} when neither hit the {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board.

Ghavam Caught

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Seyed Ghavam is playing almost every hand it would seem. He opened to 700 from late position and Vlacheslav Stoyanov made it 2,100 in the big blind. Ghavam called to see the {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{A-Clubs} flop and then called a 2,400 bet from Stoyanov.

Stoyanov slowed down and checked the {Q-Diamonds} but Ghavam bet 6,000. The former tanked for a minute or two and then made the call to see the {3-Spades} on the river where Stoyanov checked again. Ghavam quickly bet 8,500 but he was instantly called and forced to show {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Stoyanov flipped {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to win the pot.

“How Much? I Call.”

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

There was a bit of teasing at Kara Scott’s table as she opened to 625 in the Cut-off. Ali Baskan called and put the chips out. “How much?” asked Majid Noubarian sat next to him and Max Droege asked slightly incredulously, “How much, it’s right there in front of you.” Noubarian made the call as did the big blind Selcuk Ayaz.

The flop was {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Checked to Scott she bet 1,500 and found one caller in Noubarian in the small blind. The turn was {4-Clubs}. Checked to Scott again she announced “Three thousand, five hundred.” and threw a dark blue 5k chip out. “How much?” Teased Scott. Noubarian made the call. The river was the {j-Spades} and Scott bet again, this time 8,000. Noubarian made the call. When Scott showed her {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for the nut flush Noubarian showed his {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

“How much? I call.” Was the refrain around a few tables as Scott gathered in her newly won chips.

Chip Leader?

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

Bernard Samaha looks to be the chip leader at the moment. He flopped a set with queens in a four-bet pot to take down a huge pot.
