As reported yesterday PokerNews was surprised that Michael Mizrachi hadn’t bought in again on Day 1b. However he turned up fifteen minutes before the start of Day 2 looking to buy in only to be told it was too late. He wasn’t very happy about it saying he would never have missed the chance had he known it wasn’t possible. Some incorrect information from somewhere and a very disappointed Grinder.
WPT Season XII Day 2 sees 103 players returning for the Merit Cyprus Classic for a 2pm local start. One hour later than usual to allow those who partied the night away at the player’s party last night an extra hour to recover.
Bernard Samaha leads the way with 293,700 chips. Not far behind are Albert Daher on 234,000 and Alexy Rybin on 216,500.
Also returning today are England’s Sam Trickett and Kara Scott.
If the events of the last two days are anything to go by we are expecting the action to be fast and furious. Stay tuned to PokerNews throughout the day for all the action and reporting throughout the day.
