A short-stacked Harry Cullen has just seen his six big blind stack unable to boost itself upwards.

Consequently Cullen is now on the rail and will be unable to repeat his great performance at the recent WSOP-Circuit New Orleans Regional Championship where he pocketed $95,214 for his third-place finish.

Dudani Picks Off Sengphet's Bluff

Just before the break, a big hand developed in a blind vs. blind situation. It began when Shiva Dudani limped in the small blind and La Sengphet raised 3,600 more in the big. Dudani made the call and both players checked the {10-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. When the {Q-Clubs} hit the turn, Dudani led out for 4,500 only to be raised 10,500 more by Sengphet.

After Dudani called and checked in the dark, the {2-Clubs} was put out on the river. Sengphet thought long and hard before firing out 30,700. Action was back on Dudani and he tanked well into the break before making the call. Sengphet rolled over {A-Hearts}{4-Spades} for ace high, but it wasn't good against the {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds} straight of Dudani.

Lee went into the tank for several moments before folding while slipping to 25,500 as Evans moved to roughly 75,000 in chips.

Queens for Ippolito

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

La Sengphet opened to 3,700 only to have Peter Ippolito three-bet to 10,200. Sengphet made the call as both players checked down the {J-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades} board.

Ippolito's Tournament Life on the Line

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action folded to La Sengphet in the hijack and she raised to 3,700. Peter Ippolito responded by moving all in for his last 16,400 on the button, which Sengphet called after the blinds got out of the way.

Sengphet: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Ippolito: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Ippolito was in great shape to double to 38,000, which he did as the board ran out an uneventful {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.
