Only One Elimination with Schwartz in 16th, Adkison Leading with 15 Left

Jeremy Schwartz - 16th Place
Jeremy Schwartz - 16th Place

Zolotow Takes a Hit to Lee's Set - 2:35 PM

Steve Zolotow raised to 21,000 from under the gun. Curt Kohlberg made the call on the button and Bernard Lee called from the small blind. The three of them saw the flop come down {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and action checked around.

The turn card was the {9-Spades} and Lee fired 38,000. Zolotow called and Kohlberg folded. The river card completed the board with the {7-Spades} and Lee fired 78,000. Zolotow called again.

Lee turned over the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}, having flopped a set of fives and Zolotow couldn't beat it, mucking his hand and dropping to 270,000 in chips. With that pot, Lee pushed his stack to 520,000 in chips.

Schwartz Doubles Through Paredes - 2:38 PM

Jeremy Schwartz moved all in for 57,000 and was called by David Paredes. Schwartz held the {A-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Paredes the {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}.

The board ran through {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Schwartz got the double. He moved back to 134,000 while Paredes dropped to 575,000.

Adkison Doubles with Kings - 2:58 PM

There was a good amount of downtime before any real action kicked up on one of the two remaining tables. With another pie jump coming after another elimination and the players getting deeper in the event, everyone has started play a little more cautiously. This is also due to a lot of the short stacks dropping out early and leaving the deeper stacks in play.

From under the gun, Dan Perper raised to 19,000. David Paredes reraised to 60,000 from the cutoff seat. He was flatted by Curt Kohlberg on the button before action folded to David Adkison in the big blind. Adkison announced a raise and started sliding his chips out. He went back to his stack more than one time, meaning only the first amount he slid out counted. No string raises allowed, sir. His raise was to 137,000 and he had 41,000 behind. Perper folded and then Paredes moved all in. Kohlberg folded and Adkison called off the last of his stack.

Adkison: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Paredes: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out clean for Adkison, coming down {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and earning him the double up and then some. He's up to about 450,000 now while Paredes was knocked to 355,000.

Sands Wins Four-Way Limped Pot - 3:10 PM

Shannon Shorr limped from the cutoff seat and Dave "Doc" Sands limped from the button. Full Tilt Red Pro Brandon Adams completed from the small blind and then Anthony Hartmann checked his option in the big blind. All four players saw the flop come {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} for the minimum amount. Adams checked first and then Hartmann fired 23,000. Shorr raised to 70,000 and then Sands reraised to 187,000. Adams folded and Hartmann tanked. He folded as well and then Shorr followed suit. Sands won the pot and increased his stack to 655,000 in chips.

Lee Takes One - 3:12 PM

Dan Perper raised to 19,000 from middle position before Bernard Lee reraised to 47,000 from the big blind. Perper made the call and had position on Lee the rest of the way.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Lee fired 61,000. "Nice hand," said Perper, mucking his hand and not choosing to go any further.

Aggression from Sands - 3:15 PM

Mark Owens raised to 20,000 from the hijack seat and Shannon Shorr called from the cutoff. Dave "Doc" Sands three-bet to 72,000 from the button and won the pot.

Jeremy Schwartz Eliminated in 16th Place ($26,882) - 3:16 PM

Jeremy Schwartz raised all in for 110,000. Bernard Lee made the call on the button and everyone else got out of the way. Schwartz turned over the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, but was crushed by the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} for Lee.

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Schwartz was eliminated from the tournament in 16th place. He took home nearly $27,000 for his finish. Lee increased to 660,000 in chips.

Kohlberg and Paredes Get It All In - 3:27 PM

From under the gun, Curt Kohlberg raised to 17,000. Action moved over to David Adkison in the hijack seat and he called. From there, action moved to David Paredes in the big blind. He three-bet to 73,000. Kohlberg then made it 256,000 and after Adkison folded, Paredes announced a call. Kohlberg thought Paredes was all in and exposed his hand, the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, but Paredes still had chips behind. He only had 36,000 and thought himself that Kohlberg had raised enough to put him all in. The floor was called and because Paredes only had 36,000 behind, the players just put the rest of the money in. Paredes then tabled his {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Paredes got upset that an ace had flopped and Kohlberg was in the lead. The dealer then burned and turned the {9-Spades} to give Paredes a set and he commented about the justice. The river card completed the board with the {5-Hearts}.

Paredes doubled up to about 650,000 while Kohlberg was knocked back to 435,000.

Hartmann Increases Through Shorr - 3:32 PM

Shannon Shorr raised to 20,000 and Anthony Hartmann called from the small blind. The flop came down {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Shorr fired 28,000 after Hartmann checked. Hartmann made the call and the turn card brought the {J-Clubs}. Both players checked to see the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Hartmann fired 44,000 and Shorr made the call. Hartmann tabled the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Shorr mucked his hand.

Shorr dropped to 515,000 and Hartmann increased to 535,000.

Anderson Goes Running - 3:48 PM

James Anderson raised to 21,000 and Dan Perper called from the small blind. Gabe Patgorski also called from the big blind and the three players saw the flop come down {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Perper and Patgorski checked before Anderson fired 65,000. Perper called and Patgorski folded.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was then the {A-Clubs} and Perper fired out 57,000. Anderson raised to 150,000 and Perper began tanking. He rested his head on the rail for a solid minute while tanking and then finally asked how much Anderson had behind. That amount was a little over 200,000 and Perper tanked some more. He eventually called, but lost when Anderson tabled the {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for a turned-and-rivered two pair.
