The final table of the Main Event is set at the 2010-11 World Series of Poker Circuit Event - Rincon. The final 36 players returned to play today, butall but nine of them have hit the rail. Leading the pack is Seneca Easley with 856,000 in chips.

Today was a short day on the felt, but it was one that included the bursting of the money bubble. Ivan Dcunha was the unfortunate bubble boy, finishing in 22nd place at the hands of Michael Simon. A few of the players who made it to the money, but failed to reach the final table included Garry Gates, Andrew Moreno, Jason Wheeler and Eddy Sabat.

The final player to hit the rail was Brian Green in 10th place. He feel at the hands of the chip leader Easley after Easley's {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} came from behind against Green's {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

The final nine players will return tomorrow at noon local time to play for the gold ring, the title and over $70,000 in first-place prize money. Oh, and the winner will get an entry in the $1,000,000 National Championship Freeroll in late May out in Las Vegas. We'll see you all tomorrow!

Brian Green Eliminated in 10th Place ($5,136)

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Brian Green - 10th place
Brian Green - 10th place

Seneca Easley opened to 27,000 from late position, and Brian Green three-bet shoved for about 100,000 total, maybe a bit less. When it came back to Easley, he quickly made the call, and the cards were on their backs:

Easley: {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Green: {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

Easley and Michael Simon had a quick conversation as the dealer burned a card, and Simon wished Easley luck. "Thanks," Easley said. "I'm running well."

Flop: {4-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}

"See?" Easley insisted. Green was none too thrilled as a look of deep disdain crossed his face. He was two cards from the exit door, and the turn {4-Clubs} and river {5-Clubs} failed to find his queen.

Green got his money in good, but it was all for naught. The three-outer sends him off in 10th place as the final table bubble boy, good for a consolation prize of $5,136.

Action folded over to Michael Simon in the hijack seat and he raised to 28,000. Lori Nunes reraised and was all in for 106,000 from the button. Action folded back over to Simon and he made the call holding the {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Nunes held the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Nunes doubled up while Simon dropped to 170,000 in chips.

Fortini Thinks Better of It

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Hayden Fortini
Hayden Fortini

Brian Green opened to 25,000 from middle position, and Hayden Fortini three-bet to 60,000 right next door. Action came around to Michael Simon, and he shoved all in for 188,000 total. That was enough to quickly shake Green off his hand, but Fortini was not so easily pacified. It would be several long minutes of tank time for Fortini before any action came. At one point, he halfway asked if Simon had pocket jacks, drawing a warning from the dealer about talking during the hand. "Do I have to answer?" Simon asked tongue-in-cheek.

It was another few minutes before Fortini released his cards into the muck, sending just about 300,000 chips over to Simon's corner.

Masek Gets a Sweat

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Alexandru Masek is the only player left who can catch Mstr Lynch for the title of Casino Champion at this stop, needing to finish fifth place or better to claim the $10,000 freeroll entry. Lynch has been lurking along the rail for the last couple of hours, sweating his potentially million dollars in equity.

Moments ago, Lynch got the sweat he wanted. Facing a raise from Michael Simon in front of him, Masek shoved all in for an additional 110,000, and Simon quickly made the call with the covering stack. It was a flip for Masek (and Lynch).

Showdown
Simon: {9-Spades} {9-Clubs}
Masek: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

Masek didn't bother to stand up to sweat his fate, because Lynch was doing enough sweating for two people. The {3-Clubs} {6-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} flop was a miss for Masek, and Lynch leaned a bit further over the rail as his grin widened. On the turn the {2-Clubs} drew another lean-in from Lynch as Masek was now one card from elimination.

River: {A-Spades}

Masek finds his pair to save his tournament life and his hopes of earning the Casino Champion crown. For him, it means he's back to 280,000. For us, it means we've still got some poker to play. For Lynch, there's still a lot more sweating to do.

Walker Wakes Up

Shaun Walker
Shaun Walker

Alex Masek opened to 18,000 from middle position before Hayden Fortini three-bet to 50,000 on the button. Next door, small blind Shaun Walker four-bet all in for his last 118,000 total, and Masek tanked and called. Fortini had an easy call with his big stack, but it was Walker in a favorable spot to double.

Showdown
Fortini: {3-Hearts} {3-Spades}
Walker: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}

The board ran clean for Walker, coming {5-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs} {8-Spades}. With his big double, he's vaulted up to 272,000.

Khasria: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Green: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The the board ran out {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Green doubled.
