Pete Kaemmerlen Wins the Race
Pete Kaemmerlen Wins the Race

Every other hand at this final table seems to be an all in, and this one is no different. Action folded around to Pete Kaemmerlen's button and he made it 52,000 to go. Eugene Fouksman got out of the way from the small blind and Ken Silverstein pushed out a three-bet from the big blind, making it 130,000.

Kaemmerlen replied by announcing that he was all in and Silverstein quickly called, throwing {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} on the table. Silverstein was racing with Kaemmerlen, who tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and Kaemmerlen jumped into the lead, also holding the king of diamonds and hindering Silverstein's hopes for any flush outs. The turn and river came {8-Hearts} and {7-Hearts} and Kaemmerlen was able to score a key double up.
