Madsen was able to knock out an opponent when his defeated on a board.
Just two hands later, Madsen raised to 3,500 before another competitor moved all in for 22,700 total. Madsen was clearly crunching the numbers as he made the call saying, "I hope I'm live."

We picked up the action on a flop of . The player in the small blind position, Clayton Holloway, had checked to Jeff Madsen and he fired 7,100 from middle position. Holloway reraised to 15,500 to which Madsen responded with an all-in announcement. Madsen had Holloway covered.
