Lombard Over 700K

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Anthony Lombard opened to 15,000 in late position, a player on the button called, and the flop fell {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Lombard continued for 15,000, the player raised to 43,000, and Lombard called.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, both players checked, and the river was the {6-Diamonds}. Lombard check-called a 82,000-chip bet, and rolled over {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks.

They were good.

Clinkscales Doubles Short Stack

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

We got to the table to see the remnants of a hand where Rex Clinkscales doubled up a shorter stacked opponent. The player was all in for what looked like his last 47,000 and held {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} against Clinkscales' {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

The board fell {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and aces full reigned supreme as the best hand. Clinkscales shipped chips to the seat next door and is now down to about 180,000.

Jaffee Folds River

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jon Godwin opened to 12,500 in middle position, Jared Jaffee three-bet to 27,500 near the button, and the action folded back to Godwin, who tank-called.

The flop fell {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and both players checked. The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, Godwin led out for 16,500, and Jaffee quickly called.

The {a-Diamonds} completed the board, and Godwin led out again - this time for 39,500. Jaffee had the dealer spread the bet, but eventually folded.

Adam Teasdale
Adam Teasdale

A player was all in and at risk preflop holding {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, which dominated Adam Teasdale's {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

There was a four on the {4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop however, and Teasdale held as the turn and river came {9-Diamonds}, {6-Diamonds} respectively.

Teasdale, who won the 2012-13 World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's Atlantic City Main Event, now has around 470,000 chips.

We are now one player from the money, and will be playing round-for-round until the bubble bursts.

Campanello Doubles Short Stack

Level 19 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

We got to the table in time to see a player all in and at risk before the flop against Bryan Campanello. Campanello had him covered and held {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} but was ultimately behind his opponent's {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The board brought {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Campanello was forced to ship about half of his stack over to the other side of the table. Campanello now sits with about 120,000.
