Qiao Sends Randall Home

David Randall had hopes of making back-to-back WSOP Circuit Main Event Final tables after finishing 8th in Rincon last month, but that dream was dashed just short of the final table.

On his final hand, Randall raised it up, and Huicun Qiao three bet him. Randall committed the rest of his chips, and Qiao beat him into the pot.

Randall:{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Qiao: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Randall was in dire straits, and the board while the board brought some close cards, it didn't help Randall, coming down {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Randall headed to the payout desk, while Qiao pull in his newly found chips, upping his stack to 1.2 million.

Tehan Doubles Through Zektser

Igor Zektser made it 27,000 before the flop from under the gun + 1. Action folded to Joe Tehan in the cutoff who raised all in for 146,000 total. Action folded back around to Zektser who quickly made the call.

Tehan: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Zektser: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The flop of {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Clubs} gave Tehan the lead in this coin flip and that's all he would ever need as the {8-Hearts} and {10-Hearts} on the turn and river were just blanks. Tehan is up to 324,000, while Zektser dropped to just around 200,000 after the hand.

Chen Puts Firestone Out

Steve Firestone got the rest of his short stack in on a flop of {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Firestone held {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and he was in better shape then he originally thought, as the lone caller Zhong Chen held {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flush draw. Chen could also catch an ace to win, and he got that when the {a-Hearts} hit the turn. The river gave Chen an unnecessary flush, bringing the {4-Spades}, and Chen scooped the pot to up his stack to 1.2 million.

Killer Call By Lenaghan

With the board reading {K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and three other players in the pot, Ryan Lenaghan bet 32,000 from the button into the pot of over 100,000. Two players folded while Nathan Bjerno decided to make the call from the cutoff.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and action went check, check.

On the {Q-Hearts} river though, Bjerno decided to bet out 110,000, which gave Lenaghan a tough decision, but he didn't take too long to make a call.

"Nothing," Bjerno said. "You got it."

Lenaghan turned up his {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} anyways, even though he didn't have to, and raked in the pot. He's up around 900,000 now.

Tehan Takes Out Rinker

Ryan Rinker was all in preflop with {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, and was in great shape against the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} of Tehan. However, it was a fantastic flop for Tehan, coming down {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Tehan could now catch a queen for a straight, or any club for a flush. The {q-Hearts} came down on the turn, and the river couldn't bring a chop for Rinker, coming the {9-Diamonds}.

After that hand, Tehan is back up to 320,000, while Rinker was sent to the payout desk.

Set for Ingles Grants a Double

We didn't see the hand, or Baptiste Chavaillaz's cards, but we did see Jared Ingles with two red {6-}s on a board of {Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} raking in an all in pot.

With that he's up over 1,000,000 and Chavaillaz has fallen to just about 1,200,000.

Lee Cracks 500k

Doug Lee opened to 25,00 from under the gun, and Andrew Higgins made it 70,000 total. It folded back around to Lee, and he quickly called. The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}, and both players checked. The {k-Clubs} hit the turn, and Lee check called a bet of 40,000. The {8-Clubs} came on the river, and both players checked.

Lee announced "two pairs" and showed {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. It was good enough to beat Higgins, who mucked his hand. Lee took the chips, and was rewarded with a seat change to a different table.

"Bink!"

With already 200,000 in the pot, and the board reading {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, Payman Arjang had a bet of 55,000 in front of him. Nathan Bjerno responded by moving all in with a covering stack, and after a good while in the tank, Arjang called it off.

Bjerno: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Arjang: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}

Arjang was well ahead, but Bjerno had a draw to the nut flush and one over.

The turn was the {K-Hearts} taking away some of Bjerno's outs.

But the river fell the {Q-Clubs}, giving Bjerno one of the outs he needed to claim the knockout.

"Bink!" Bjerno said.

With that, Bjerno moves back into the chip lead and has around 1,900,000, while Arjang was sent home in 25th place ($6,585).

Greg Brask Claims One

Hamidreza Khodamorad was the first player to be eliminated since the table redraw and it was at the hands of Greg Brask.

Brask and Khodamorad were all in preflop, Brask was holding {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Khodamorad was holding {A-}{K-}. The flop came out {4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Spades} and Khodamorad was sent home in 26th place ($6,585).

Brask is up to 229,000 after the hand.
