Final Three Tables

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We are down to our final three tables, and the 26 remaining players (we lost two on the final hand of four table play) are doing a complete redraw. We will post a full seating chart with updated counts for everyone shortly.

"I Always Win, I Told Ya!"

Doug Lee just doubled up in dramatic fashion here at the Bike.

Preflop, Doug opened shoved for 145,000 from the cutoff. The button was in the tank for a bit but eventually folded his hand. After a quick thought, Mack Lee made the call from the small blind.

"Thanks for the double up," Doug said after the call.

After the big blind folded though, the cards were turned on their backs and Doug was in a world of hurt.

Doug Lee: {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Mack Lee: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

"I had {A-}{J-}," the player on the button said, which one take away at least one of Doug's outs.

The flop fell {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} putting Doug in an even bigger hole, and he even stood up about to walk away from the table.

The turn {8-Spades} though gave Doug a boatload of extra outs, and they were outs he would hit on the {7-Clubs} river.

"I always win, I told ya!" Doug said after the hand. "I trapped him," he said in Hellmuth-esque style.

After that hand, Doug has moved up to around 300,000 in chips while Mack has dropped to around 525,000.

Mack Wins Battle of the Lee's

There was about 65,000 in the middle with the board reading {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} when we got to the table. We saw that Doug Lee had fired out 35,000, and that Mack Lee had shoved all in, having Doug covered. Doug spent at least three minutes before folding his hand, and Mack made a playful jab after the hand, saying "Where are we? It's been so long I've forgotten where we are."

After that hand, Mack is up to 670,000, while Doug is down to just 155,000.

No More Ladies

There are only men left in the field now as Mari Sue Morelli has just been eliminated.

Preflop, Mari Sue Morelli shoved her last 80,000 all in and was called by the player in the big blind.

Morelli: {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Big Blind: {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The window card was the {6-Spades} prompting groans from Morelli and the table, but the rest of the flop came {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, giving Morelli top pair and the lead.

The turn {5-Spades} though gave the big blind a slew of extra outs to a straight, and they were outs he would hit on the {9-Clubs} river. Morelli took the beat well and shook hands with all the players before collecting her payday of $3,505.

Randall Crashes Into Aces

Prelop, David Randall made it 24,000 from under the gun. From middle position a player moved all in over the top for 86,000, and action folded back over to Randall. After a few seconds of counting chips, Randall eventually made the call and the cards were turned over.

Randall: {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
All in player: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Randall was forced to ship over 86,000 to the other player. Randall is still alive though with roughly 380,000 chips.

Le Loses a Small One

Nam Le raised to 18,000 preflop, and in position, David Malka made the call.

The flop fell {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Nam Bet out 26,000. Malka made the call and it was off to the {A-Diamonds} on the turn.

From here, Nam made a second bet of 33,000, which Malka again called.

The river was the {4-Spades} and now Nam slowed down and checked. Malka took a minute or so before betting 78,000. Nam didn't take too long to make the call, but it was the wrong call as Malka showed {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for top two pair. Le mucked and moved down to around 500,000 in chips while Malka moved up to around 800,000.
