Ivan Banic Escapes

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

After a raise from Oliver Knoll in early position, Ivan Banic shoved his remaining stack of 4,500 in the middle. Giorgi Chokheli reshoved 13,000 all in from the big blind and Knoll called to put both players at risk.

Oliver Knoll: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Ivan Banic: {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Giorgi Chokheli: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, giving Banic the winner with a full house. Knoll took the sidepot, Chokheli was eliminated.

Kassouf's Czech-Mate?

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

One of the loudest mouths in the field belongs to Martin Kabrhel. The Czech, who's caliber of speech play might even put William Kassouf's to the test, is currently trying to spin up his second bullet of the day.

With two other players in the hand, Kabrhel saw a flop of {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} appear. After two checks, Kabrhel made it 2,000, with only one player check-calling the bet. On the {5-Clubs} turn, Kabrhel's opponent check-folded to a 7,000 bet.

"What, fold? That is not correct!" exclaimed Kabrhel while raking in the pot.

Kabrhel might talk the talk, but he also walks the walk. Just three days ago, the Czech won the €8,888 Super High Roller at the WSOP Circuit festival here in Rozvadov, banking €48,450.

Laszlo Toth, The Machine

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Under the gun, a player makes it 1,100. In the next seat over, Laszlo Toth three-bets to 3,000. The big blind cold-called the three-bet, as did the initial raiser.

After two checks on the {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Toth continued with a bet of 3,800, which only the player in the big blind called. Both players quickly checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river.

The big blind showed {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, but Toth held the winner with {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Shaking his head, the big blind had to depart with some of his chips. Toth is now the presumable chipleader.
