Break

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Players are on their first 15-minute break of the day. We spoke with 2011 November Niner Martin Staszko in the break to get the story behind his already impressive stack.

According to Staszko, he received the majority in a pot where his opponent bluffed it away with five high. Staszko's opponent had called a reraise to 4,200 preflop with {5-}{3-} and called a bet on the flop. Staskzo then check-called bets of 11,000 and 30,000 with an unknown holding, but one that certainly beat his opponent's unimproved five-high.

Staszko is sitting on 120,000 in the first break and is the presumable chipleader.

Flying Dutchmen Taking Their Seats

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The Czech town of Rozvadov, located near the German border, is a popular poker destination for many Dutch players. Clyde Tjauw Foe, Pim van Wieringen, Raoul Refos and Fatih Aydin all made the trip from Holland to take a shot at the €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
