Perati Pays Off Magalashvili

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A raise by Michael Magalashvili in the cutoff was called by Muhamet Perati on the button and the player in the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, the big blind checked and subsequently folded while Magalashvili bet 24,000. Perati called and did so again for 56,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn.

After the {K-Clubs} river, Magalashvili cut out a bet of 120,000 and Perati called after some consideration. Magalashvili turned over {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a back door flush and raked in a massive pot not far off the money bubble.

Mital Doubles Through Hellmuth

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth was about to raise when he noticed a motion by table neighbor and short stack Štefan Mital. Hellmuth still raised and then called the shove of the short stack with {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} to see Mital turn over {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The board came {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and the kicker played to let Mital double.

Martin Kabrhel raised to 22,000, leaving himself with just 1,000 behind and was called by Jose Ponce on the button and Michal Stipsky in the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Stipsky checked his option. Kabrhel took his time to put the last 1,000 in the middle and Ponce moved all-in himself. Stipsky was left with a big decision and eventually made the call.

All three hands were tabled and it was Ponce ahead with {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flopped flush. Kabrhel showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Stipsky held {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and the river was the {8-Clubs}. Stipsky made the nut flush to scoop the whole pot and send Kabrhel to the rail.

Meanwhile on the table next door, Phil Hellmuth opened to 16,000 on the button and Catalin Pop shoved all-in from the big blind. Hellmuth snapped him off and tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. The board ran out clean for Hellmuth and Pop became another casualty

Down to 77 Players

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

There were two Slovakians left in the field but that number has since been reduced to just one as Stefan Vagner has busted. Martin Bartos was more fortunate after sending Stephan Jark to the rail.

Jark shoved for 57,000 and Bartos reshoved to force out everyone else, then turned over his {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Jark, who was already standing away from the table, said "turn them over," and the player in the two seat obliged to reveal his {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

The board came {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Jark tapped the table before leaving the tournament area without a word.

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel and Walid Abdi Ali
Martin Kabrhel and Walid Abdi Ali

The action was folded to the button who raised to 15,000 and Martin Kabrhel three-bet to 85,000 from the small blind. Walid Abdi Ali pushed all-in for 166,000 from the big blind and the button laid his hand down. It was time for Kabrhel to put on a show and gain the attention from all the viewers.

"Tell me what you have and I'll fold. If you don't tell me I will have to call." Kabrhel went on for over three minutes before the clock was finally called. With one second left to act, Kabrhel tossed in a chip and said, "Let's gamble!"

Abdi Ali turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and it was a race against the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Kabrhel. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Abdi Ali found a full double up. Kabrhel was left with just a few big blinds after the hand and he did not approve of the way his opponent played the hand.

"You play perfect, sir," Kabrhel with a sarcastic tone in his voice.

Karel Kovařík: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Van Tiep Nguyen: {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The board came {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Hearts} brought no upset before the money bubble and Kovarik doubled.

Mach Continues to Stack Chips

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Jan Mach
Jan Mach

The action folded to Jan Mach on the button and he raised to 13,000. Phil Hellmuth called from the big blind and the flop came {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Hellmuth checked and Mach continued for 8,000. Hellmuth went for the check-raise to 22,000 but Mach called to see the {8-Spades} on the turn.

Hellmuth fired another bullet for 28,000 and Mach still called. The river was the {4-Spades} and both players checked. Hellmuth showed {10-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Mach tabled {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to rake in the pot.

"I would have won if you didn't hit an eight! You looked so scared on the flop," Hellmuth pointed out to his opponent. "We're just getting started, I see you."

"I'm waiting," Mach responded with a grin on his face.
