Grospellier Slow Plays a Full House

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Betrand 'ElkY' Grospellier
Betrand 'ElkY' Grospellier

The action folded to Bertrand Grospellier in the small blind who raised to 10,000 and was called by the big blind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} and both players checked to the {2-Spades} on the turn.

Grospellier checked again and the big blind fired 24,500. Grospellier made the call and the {3-Clubs} completed the board. Both players checked again and Grospellier tabled {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a full house to take down the pot.

Schulz Through the Roof

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Not long ago, Robert Schulz was down to only 60,000 and that has since changed. In a three-bet pot against the player on the button, Schulz faced a bet of 42,000 on the {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop and the German called. The {A-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river were checked and the small blind showed king-ten only. Schulz had that beat with {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and raked in a vital pot.

Stanislaw Miadzel
Stanislaw Miadzel

Jan Timo Jobmann and Stanislav Miazel won tournaments during this WSOP Circuit festival at the King's Casino and so has Catalin Pop. Jobmann and Miazel both share the same table and have an above-average stack with the latter picking up some small change just now.

In a heads-up pot to the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Miazel bet 20,000 and showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} after the fold of his sole remaining opponent.

Vojtech Ruzicka Eliminated

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Vojtech Ruzicka
Vojtech Ruzicka

Vojtech Ruzicka had some 110,000 chips remaining when the hand started, and that has since been reduced to zero. A raise to 15,000 by the player from under the gun was followed by the shove of Ruzicka and Daniel Nietrzebka over-shoved for slightly more to force out the player in under the gun.

Vojtech Ruzicka: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Daniel Nietrzebka: {A-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board of {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} provided an over kill as Nietrzebka improved on each street to ultimately eliminate the former November Niner with a full house.

Stolar Forces Out Bonnaud

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Catalin Pop lost a big pot to Pavel Stolar and the latter used the chips to put pressure on Morgan Bonnaud. The Frenchman faced a bet of 20,000 on the {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} river and the clock was called on him. His one minute ran down and Bonnaud folded, claiming to have had a six.

Stolar said he had a flush draw, which Bonnaud at first didn't understand before Jan Mach chimed in. Stolar moved up to almost half a million in chips while the last 100 are near with 102 players remaining according to the screens.

Vazha Kometiani
Vazha Kometiani

The seat of Gerhard Brimmers was vacated and the media from Georgia as well as Michal Mrakes confirmed that it was Vazha Kometiani who picked up the chips of the German. According to Mrakes, Brimmers three-bet small out of the small blind and check-shoved a {Q-}{10-}{5-} flop with pocket jacks.

Kometiani called with pocket fives for bottom set and there was no lucky punch for Brimmers.

Ace in the Window for Cantu

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Brandon Cantu
Brandon Cantu

The action was folded to Brandon Cantu on the button who just limped in for 4,000. The big blind raised it up to 12,000 and Cantu announced all-in. The big blind quickly called for his remaining 123,000 and was the player at risk.

The big blind tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Cantu showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Cantu saw the ace right in the window. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river brought the {3-Spades}. Cantu's two pair earned him the pot and eliminated his opponent.
