Van Hooren Value Bets

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

In a pot that already saw some action preflop, P. Chen was in the big blind and checked to Jacco van Hooren, who bet 4,500 on a {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop. Chen check-called the bet before both players checked the {Q-Clubs} on the turn.

On the {A-Clubs} river, Chen checked, Van Hooren bet 6,000 and Chen called.

Van Hooren showed {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the rivered pair of aces and Chen mucked.

Otter With the Nuts

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On a {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Bartel Kars bet 5,500 from the cutoff and Erik Tabak called on the button. Karl Otter check-raised all in from the hijack, for close to 19,000, Kars snap-folded and Tabak instantly released as well.

Otter flung {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} open for the flopped nut flush and stacked up quite nicely in the process. For Kars, it's been a terrible first hour as the MCOP side-event winner has slipped below the 10k mark already.

Goldenbelt Keeps Stacking

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

In a three-bet pot between Marcel Goldenbelt, Paul Berende and Karl Otter with 1,500 invested each, action was checked to the river on a {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Clubs} board. Goldenbelt bet 3,200 and Otter was the only caller.

Goldenbelt showed {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, Otter nodded, flashed the {Q-Clubs} and mucked. The Dutch cash gamer moved up to 50k after the hand to make him the early frontrunner.

Goldenbelt Sees Through Hu

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

David Hu is known for his aggressive tendencies at the table and showed off some of that on a {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board. After Marcel Goldenbelt had bet 1,400, Hu raised it up to 4,500.

Goldenbelt took around a minute before sliding in a call. Hu showed {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Goldenbelt tabled the winner with {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
