Mujevic Takes Rigley Out

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Sean Rigley
Sean Rigley

Sean Rigley couldn't be found at his table anymore. The players at the table all had a bit of a different story of what had happened but in the end, they all agreed this is what had happened:

Iso Mujevic had raised and four people had called including Sean Rigley.

The flop came {k-}{2-}{6-} and only Rigley called a 6,500 bet of Mujevic.

It's not entirely sure what the turn was but Rigley check-called the shove of Mujevic.

Sean Rigley: {k-}{9-}
Iso Mujevic: {a-}{k-}

They both had the pair of kings but Mujevic had the better kicker with the ace in his hand.

The river completed the board with another {2-} and Rigley was sent away from the table.

Hegele Wins a Bit and Loses Some

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Robin Hegele has joined the field after the break and is off to a good start.

Hand #1:
The flop read {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Hegele checked his big blind, and so did Eyal Bensimhon and the players in the early position and on the button.

The turn brought them the {Q-Diamonds}, Hegele, Bensimhon and the player in the early position checked again. The player on the button bet 2,000. Hegele checked his opponent's stack out and then decided to call. Bensimhon and the other player both folded.

The river completed the board with the {3-Clubs} and both Hegele and his opponent checked. Hegele's opponent tabled {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two pair, queens and sevens with the eight as the kicker. Hegele had him beat though for the same two pair but with the nine-kicker as he held {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Hand #2:
The hand after, Karl Snow, in early position raised to 950 with was met with some protest from Bensimhon as he was in the big blind. Everyone folded to Hegele in the small blind. Hegele called. Bensimhon folded.

"Punish him for me" Bensimhon said to Hegele.

"I'll try" Hegele said with a smile.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and both players checked. The turn brought them the {2-Clubs}, Hegele bet 1,800 and Snow called.

The {5-Clubs} on the river completed the board, Hegele continued with a bet of 3,500. Snow raised to 11,000.

"Now I am getting punished!" Hegele exclaimed and he quickly folded.

"No! You were supposed to punish him!" Bemsimhon said with some despair.

"I tried! I had so many outs!" Hegele replied while Snow stacked up his newly acquired chips.

Eyal Bensimhon just won a big hand and was kind enough to tell the live reporting team about it when we asked him.

The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 850. The player in the early position called. Eyal Bensimhon three-bet to 2,400 from the button. The blinds folded and the two other players both called.

The flop came {J-}{7-}{5-} with two clubs. Both of his opponents checked, Bensimhon continued with a bet of 4,500. The first player to act decided the call. The second player raised to 13,700. Bensimhon called and the first player folded so they would be heads-up.

The turn brought them the {3-Spades}, Bensimhon's opponent shoved for about 25,000 and Bensimhon tank-called.

Early position: {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Eyal Bensimhon: {A-}{7-}

Bensimhon had flopped a pair of sevens and his opponent had flopped the lower pair of fives.

The river completed the board with a {k-} and Bensimhon shipped the pot.

Adinolfi Eliminates Pete

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante
Mario Adinolfi
Mario Adinolfi

The flop read {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. "Pete" had the all-in button in front of him while he was sitting in the small blind. Mario Adinolfi also shoved and the player in the under-the-gun position tanked. After a while, the clock was called on him. When the floor came over to ask the dealer about the situation, the under-the-gun player folded.

Pete: {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Mario Adinolfi: {A-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Pete had flopped a flush draw and bottom pair. Adinolfi, however, had flopped a wheel, he just needed to avoid a heart to not double Pete up.

The turn brought them the {j-Diamonds} and the river completed the board with the {k-Spades}, no help for Pete and he was sent to the rail.

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante
Dominik Desset
Dominik Desset

Dominik Desset raised to 800 from the cutoff and was called the player in the small blind and Fabian Gumz in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, both the small blind and Gumz checked, Desset bet 1,200. The small blind folded and Gumz glanced at Desset's stack and then decided to put Desset all-in. Desset looked at his own stack and then called for the 5,450 he had behind.

Dominik Desset: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Fabian Gumz: {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Desset had a gutshot to a straight and Gumz had flopped two pair. The turn brought them the {4-Clubs} which didn't change the situation much but the {q-Hearts} on the river gave Desset the out he needed for the double up.
