Zabrodskyy Rivers a Straight

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante
Vasyl Zabrodskyy
Vasyl Zabrodskyy

The player in early position raised to 450 and was called by Vasyl Zabrodskyy in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

They all checked through the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} on the flop to the {J-Spades} on the turn. Zabrodskyy and the big blind checked. The early position player bet 550, Zabrodskyy called and the big blind folded.

The {Q-Spades} on the river completed the board on which they both checked again. Zabrodskyy's opponent tabled {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines but was beaten by Zabrodskyy who showed {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for the rivered straight.

Battle of the Nicknames

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

"JOBBI" raised to 600 from the early position and was called by "GGBN" (late position), Philip Zukernik (cutoff), the player on the button and "DAGI" in the big blind.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, DAGI checked, JOBBI bet 2,000, GGBN called, Zukernik and the player on the button both folded. DAGI called.

The turn brought them the {8-Hearts}, DAGI checked once more, JOBBI shoved. GGBN raised to 4,000. DAGI reraised to 12,000 and GGBN looked at his cards again. GGBN open-folded the {Q-Hearts}.

JOBBI: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
DAGI: {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}

DAGI had turned the straight flush against the nut-flush of JOBBI. The river didn't matter anymore as JOBBI was drawing dead. The river was the {J-Spades}.

Lybaert on the Way Up

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Bart Lybaert, unfortunately, had to reenter earlier in the day and is now seated at the same table as fellow Belgian, Kiarash Nabavieh.

Lybaert raised to 400 from mid-position and was called by three other players in the hijack, on the button, and in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, the big blind checked, Lybaert bet 1,500 and everyone else folded.

Bidzinski on Top

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Paul Lozano bet 6,575 on the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} board from the cutoff and Premyslav Bidzinski raised to 17,000 from the button. Lozano shoved for about 31,000 and Bidzinski called with the bigger stack after tanking for a bit. Bidzinski tabled {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair and that was more than enough to beat the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} of Lozano who had missed his straight draw. Lozano was sent to the rail or cashier to pay for a reentry.
