Baumann Bows Out

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Gaelle Baumann couldn't be found at her table any more but another blogger was kind enough to tell us what had happened.

Thierry Delpui raised to 2,600 from the under-the-gun position, Baumann raised to 7,000 from the cutoff. The player on the button called but Delpui shoved for 31,600 in total. Baumann called and the button folded.

Thierry Delpui: {K-}{k-}
Gaelle Baumann: {Q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-}{J-}{4-}{8-}{j-} - no help for Baumann and she has been eliminated.

Nokra Wins With Two Pair

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Yann Deschamps raised to 2,500 from middle position and was called by Mouad Nokra in the big blind.

They both checked through the {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} on the flop to the {5-Diamonds} on the turn. Nokra check-called the 3,000 bet of Deschamps.

The river completed the board with the {7-Spades}, now Nokra bet 3,000 and after some careful consideration, Deschamps called. Nokra showed {q-Hearts}{8-Spades} for two pair, eights and fives, and that was enough for Deschamps to muck his hand.

Moolhuizen Takes One

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The board read {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and the pot contained about 6,000 in it. Jon Garde, sitting in the small blind checked and Mateusz Moolhuizen, in the big blind, bet 4,300. Garde looked at the board again, then at the pot, then at his own chips and eventually decided to fold.

Gumz Grinding Back Up

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

The player in middle position limped in, Fabian Gumz, sitting in the hijack, raised to 2,500. Action folded back to the middle position player who called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-}, the player in middle position checked, Gumz bet 4,500 and his opponent snap-shoved and slammed his chips on the table, Gumz called.

Fabian Gumz: {K-Hearts}{10-}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{8-}

Gumz had flopped top pair, the turn brought them a {10-} to give Gumz trip tens so he only needed to avoid a jack or six to win. The river completed the board with a {5-} and Gumz took the pot.

Neurauter Finds Another Double Up

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Hannes Neurauter raised to 2,000 from early position and the next player to act decided to three-bet to 5,425. Action folded back to Neurauter who called.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Neurauter check-called the 2,300 bet of his opponent.

The turn brought them the {3-Spades}, now Neurauter check-called the 1,900 bet of his opponent.

The river completed the board with the {A-Diamonds}, Neurauter checked, his opponent counted some of his chips and then decided to put all his orange 5,000-value chips in, putting Neurauter all-in. Neurauter called immediately and showed {A-Spades}{J-Spades} for the rivered two pair, aces and jacks. His opponent tabled {Q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} which wasn't good enough and he paid Neurauter the double-up.
