Cerminara Wins a Monster

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Frank Cerminara checked a {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop from middle position, and Kou Vang bet 3,100 from the cutoff. The button raised to 10,100, and Cerminara three-bet shoved for 66,600. Vang tanked for a few minutes before folding, and the button didn't take long to commit his 52,300 stack.

Opponent: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Frank Cerminara: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Cerminara held the lead with his superior kicker, and while he improved to two pair on the {a-Hearts} turn, his opponent still had a gutshot to draw to. The {6-Clubs} river blanked off, and Cerminara raked in the six-figure pot and scored the elimination.

Zverhovskyy On Right Side of a Flip

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Steven Sanzaro raised to 1,600 from middle position, and Jerod Smith called in the hijack. Artem Zverhivskyy three-bet shoved for 20,800 on the button, Sanzaro called off his last 20,500 and Smith folded.

Steven Sanzaro: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Artem Zverhivskyy: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Zverhivskyy hit his king on the {6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, btu the {4-Hearts} turn kept Sanzaro live with any queen or heart good to leave Zverhivskyy with crumbs. The {7-Clubs} river changed nothing, and Sanzaro hit the rail.

Simon Wins Massive Three-Way Pot

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Michael Moncek checked from the small blind on a {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board, and Travis Lauson checked from under the gun. John Simon jammed for 50,500 into a similarly sized pot from middle position, and Moncek called off his last 40,000. Lauson tanked for a few minutes, then slammed in a column of chips to make the call.

Simon tabled {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the nut flush, and Moncek's {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} went into the muck immediately. Lauson shook his head, showing {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a defeated set, before telling Simon "Nice hand," and paying off the bet.

Raghavan Chipping Up

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Ken Daciolas raised to 1,000 from under the gun, and found four callers, including Ravi Raghavan in the cutoff, and Leon Gao on the button.

Action checked to a player in early position on a {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, and he bet 3,300. Only Raghavan called.

The early position player checked the {q-Diamonds} turn, and Raghavan bet 5,000. The early position player called.

The {3-Clubs} fell on the river, and the early position player checked again. Raghavan bet 8,500, and his opponent wasted little time in folding.

Magnuson's Aces Good For a KO

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player had his last 12,000 in the pot from under the gun, and Janae Magnuson had calling chips in the pot from the small blind.

Opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Janae Magnuson: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Magnuson's aces improved to a set on the {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} board, and she earned the knockout.

"All I get is seven-deuce or aces," Magnuson told a tablemate, who asked, "You had aces seven times today?"

"Six." Magnuson replied. "And kings once."

Kramer Jams on Wolff

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Jamey Kramer raised to 1,000 from the hijack, and Michael Wolff three-bet to 4,000 from the big blind. Kramer tanked for a few moments before tossing in a call.

Wolff bet 2,200 on the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, and Kramer called.

The {10-Spades} fell on the turn, and Wolff checked. "All in," Kramer said, putting his last 27,000 at risk. Wolff, who just barely had Kramer covered, quickly folded.
