Cerminara Wins a Monster

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Frank Cerminara checked a {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop from middle position, and Kou Vang bet 3,100 from the cutoff. The button raised to 10,100, and Cerminara three-bet shoved for 66,600. Vang tanked for a few minutes before folding, and the button didn't take long to commit his 52,300 stack.

Frank Cerminara: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Cerminara held the lead with his superior kicker, and while he improved to two pair on the {a-Hearts} turn, his opponent still had a gutshot to draw to. The {6-Clubs} river blanked off, and Cerminara raked in the six-figure pot and scored the elimination.

John Simon jammed for 50,500 into a similarly sized pot from middle position, and Moncek called off his last 40,000. Lauson tanked for a few minutes, then slammed in a column of chips to make the call.
