Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
George Pappas
George Pappas

Richard Bai opened for 60,000 from the cutoff and George Pappas jammed for roughly 300,000 from the small blind. Action was on Nikolas Stone who called from the big blind and Bai mucked his hand.

Nikolas Stone: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
George Pappas: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Pappas was ahead until the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop hit the felt.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Pappas needed a nine to win but the river tripped up Stone with the {a-Clubs} to send Pappas home in 10th place.

Bai Doubles Through Torcolese in the Biggest Pot of the Tournament

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Richard Bai
Richard Bai

Jack Torcolese raised to 60,000 from middle position and Richard Bai three-bet to 210,000 from the big blind. Torcolese called.

On the {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, Bai checked, and Torcolese simply jammed to put Bai at risk for his last 1.8 million. Bai tanked for three minutes before a clock was called, and halfway through the clock, he called.

Richard Bai: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Jack Torcolese: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

"Good call. I thought I could make you fold," Torcolese told Bai.

Torcolese still had plenty of outs to crack the aces of Bai, but the {q-Hearts} turn and {3-Spades} river bricked off, sending nearly a third of the chips in play over to Bai.

"That's some serious s*** right there!" Brett Apter said in the aftermath of the massive pot.

Jack Torcolese
Jack Torcolese

Brett Apter raised to 60,000 from middle position, and James Pupillo called in the hijack. Jack Torcolese three-bet shoved for 460,000 from the small blind, and Apter four-bet shoved for 900,000.

"The more the merrier!" Torcolese said with a grin.

Pupillo tanked for two minutes, apologizing to the table at one point, before folding.

Jack Torcolese: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Brett Apter: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Torcolese caught up on the {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop, but Apter took the lead right back on the {k-Diamonds} turn. The {5-Spades} river bricked off, and Torcolese, who started the final table with the chip lead, bows out in eighth.
