Walsworth Continues to Build

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

After the cutoff player limped in, Peter Walsworth raised to 3,000 on the button and was called by the big blind player while initial limper folded.

The {9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop was checked to the {3-Diamonds} turn.

The big blind player check-called Walsworth's 6,500 bet to see the board pair with the {3-Clubs} river and lead out for 13,000.

Walsworth glared at his opponent before tossing in the chips.

Walsworth's opponent missed his flush with {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} while Walsworth scooped the pot with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Kings Hold for Merkow

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

After a series of raises, Gregg Merkow had his opponent at risk preflop for roughly 40,000 and both hands were tabled.

Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Gregg Merkow: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Merkow had his opponent dominated and the flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} changing nothing but the {7-Clubs} gave him a sweat as his opponent picked up a flush draw to go along with his pocket pair, but the {7-Spades} on the river was a brick, eliminating his opponent from the tournament.
