Barker Scoops Another

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player from early position limped in along with Chuck Barker sitting to his left and Lucas Priour raised to 2,400 on the button. The initial limper called along with Barker to see a {6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop.

Action was checked to Priour who continued for 2,200 and was called by Barker.

The {8-Spades} turn was checked by both players to see the {q-Hearts} river complete the board.

Barker lead out for 5,500 and took down the pot after Priour quickly folded.

Tough Call for Van Blarcum

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Blake Whittington raised in middle position to 1,300 Aaron Van Blarcum called in the cutoff and Stacey Jones called on the button before the blinds got out of the way.

The dealer spread a flop of {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Whittington checked, Van Blarcum bet out 2,300 and Jones made the call before Whittington gave it up.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Van Blarcum continued with a bet of 4,600. Jones was faced with a decision and after some friendly banter about his sunglasses, he eventually made the call.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and this time Van Blarcum checked to Jones who fired out a bet of 17,000 putting Van Blarcum to the test. After about 10-seconds Van Blarcum made the call and Jones tabled {a-Spades}{3-Clubs} for ace-high and Van Blarcum scooped the pot when he tabled {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights.

Barker Eliminates Eyster

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Chuck Barker opened for 1,600 from the cutoff and Kevin Eyster three-bet to 6,500 on the button. Action folded back around to Barker who called to see the {3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} flop.

Barker check-called Eyster's all in bet and both players tabled their cards.

Eyster was out-flopped and couldn't catch up as the board completed with the {10-Clubs} turn and the {a-Clubs} river to end his tournament.

A player in middle position raised to 1,000 and Larry Goleman three-bet to 3,200 in the cutoff. Peter Walsworth called on the button and the blinds got out of the way before the original raiser made the call.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and both players checked to Walsworth who fired out a bet of 5,000. The preflop raiser made the call and Goleman mucked his hand.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and after being checked to once again Walsworth continued the pressure with a bet of 6,000 which was enough to push his opponent out of the pot.

Moore Doubles Through Lech with Better Full House

Michael Lech opened under the gun for 1,200 and Megan Moore three-bet to 3,500 from the hijack. Action on the table folded back around to Lech who called to see a {4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop.

Lech lead out for 1,500 and Moore quickly raised to 5,000. Lech called and both players checked the {8-Spades} turn to the {8-Clubs} river.

Lech check-raised to 23,000 after Moore fired out 5,000 and Moore jammed all-in getting a quick call from Lech.

Both players flopped a set and improved to a full house on the river but Moore held the better of it and Lech sent over 41,600 leaving himslef with just 2,000.

Jones' Continuation Bet Takes it Down

The player under-the-gun raised to 800, next to act called and Blake Whittington called before Stacey Jones three-bet to 3,800 on the button. The blinds quickly folded, the under-the-gun folded and both the player in the middle and Whittington came along.

The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both players checked to Jones who continued for 6,000 which was good to enough to push both players out of the pot.

Apter Check-Raises All-In

Brett Apter raised in middle position to 900, Clay Hoffman called in the cutoff and the button and blinds folded.

The dealer spread a flop of [qdd3s2d], Apter checked and Hoffman bet out 2,500. Apter eyed up Hoffman's stack and announced all-in. Hoffman went in the tank for just under two minutes before deciding to let his hand go.

Eyster Gets Paid with a Set of Fours

There was heads-up action between Kevin Eyster from the hijack and the big blind player with 5,000 in the middle and a board showing {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

The big blind player check-called Eyster's 2,200 to see the {q-Spades} river complete the board and followed suit after a 4,800 bet from Eyster.

Eyster tabled {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a set of fours and scooped the pot after his opponent tossed his hand into the muck.
