"The Barry Greenstein"

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Trace Henderson
Trace Henderson

Trace Henderson limped in from the hijack and Blake Barousse also called on the button. Blake Whittington jammed all in for 580,000 in the big blind and Trace Henderson also pushed all in for 314,000 which got Barousse to fold.

Trace Henderson: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Blake Whittington: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The two players were off to the races and the flop of {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} left Whittington in the lead. The {6-Clubs} on the turn was also good for Whittington but the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave Henderson the best hand. It's known as "The Barry Greenstein" when the ace hits the river and this time it resulted in a double up for Henderson.

Miskelly Takes Out Pho

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Chico Pho
Chico Pho

Chico Pho made it 34,000 to go from under the gun and was called by three players. The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the blinds checked to Pho who ripped all in for 226,000. The action folded to Walker Miskelly in the big blind who asked for a count before making the call.

Walker Miskelly: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Chico Pho: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Pho was in the lead with his pair of aces but Miskelly still had plenty of outs to hit. One of those was the {10-Hearts} that fell on the turn to give Miskelly a straight. The {j-Spades} paired the board on the river and Pho was sent to the payout desk.

Kelley and Stanfill Stay Alive

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

At one table, H.B. Sablotny opened to 35,000 from under the gun and was called by Reyna Binkley in middle position. Bryant Kelley shipped all in for 117,000 in the big blind and only Sablotny called.

Kelley was dominating with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} against the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Sablotny. However, the flop of {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} provided a sweat for Sablotny with a flush draw but the {8-Spades} and {j-Spades} bricked out.

Next door, Jody Stanfill was back up to 174,000 and he moved all in from the cutoff. Walker Miskelly called from the small blind and also turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Stanfill was in trouble with {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and the flop of {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} wasn't looking promising for him.

The {3-Hearts} on the turn gave Stanfill a flush draw who was already standing from his chair. The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Stanfill made a flush to score another double up and stay alive.

Matthews Holds to Eliminate Todd

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Adam Todd
Adam Todd

Adam Todd raised it up from the hijack and was called by H.B. Slobotny in the small blind and Clifford Matthews in the big blind. The flop fell {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Slobotny checked to Matthews who led out for 100,000. Todd thought for a minute before shoving all in for around 330,000. Slobotny folded and Matthews quickly called.

Clifford Matthews: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Adam Todd: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Matthews was currently in the lead with top pair but Todd had a pair and a flush draw. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn and the {j-Diamonds} on the river put a straight on the board but Matthews had the ace in his hand for a higher straight, eliminating Todd from the tournament.

Lee Leaves Stanfill on Crumbs

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jody Stanfill pushed all in for around 170,000 in middle position and it folded to Hyun Lee in the big blind who quickly called off his last 154,000 chips.

Hyun Lee: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Jody Stanfill: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} was no help to Stanfill and he was drawing dead on the {10-Spades} turn card. The {9-Hearts} was insignificant on the river, leaving Stanfill with less than 20,000 chips. Just two hands later, Stanfill was all in and flopped a set of jacks in order to triple up and stay alive.

Blake vs Blake

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Reyna Binkley opened to 27,000 and Blake Whittington called on her left. Blake Barousse made a small three-bet to 51,000 on the button and both Binkley and Whittington called. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} and the action checked to Barousse who bet 60,000. Binkley quickly folded but Whittington made the call.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and both players checked to the {7-Clubs} on the river. Whittington checked once more and Barousse reached back for a bet of 160,000. Whittington mulled it over but decided to make the call. Barousse flipped over {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Whittington was unable to beat it.

Big Stacks Playing Pots

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With around 80,000 in the middle and the flop reading {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, James Todd Osborne led out for 56,000 in the small blind. Matthew Higgins called on the button and the {9-Clubs} rolled off on the turn.

Osborne tossed in the same bet of 56,000 and Higgins stuck around to see the {a-Clubs} on the river. Osborne checked this time and Higgins pushed out a bet of 150,000. Osborne quickly called and Higgins indicated that it was a good call. Osborne showed {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and was awarded the pot.
