Marfil Adds More as Ryynanen Fires Big Bluff
Level 25
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Sampo Ryynanen raised to 160,000 in the cutoff. Valentin Imperatore called in the small blind, and David Marfil defended his big blind.
It checked to Ryynanen on the 4♠2♦K♠ flop, who continued with a bet of 200,000. Imperatore folded before Marfil called. The 6♠ turn was checked by both Marfil and Ryynanen, and Marfil checked again on the 5♦ river.
Ryynanen assembled a bet of 900,000 and slid it into the middle. Marfil immediately tossed in a calling chip for Ryynanen to show A♦Q♠.
Marfil had top pair with K♥J♦, comfortably raking in the sizable pot to increase his stack further.
