Kevin Hasler
Kevin Hasler

Kevin Hasler was all in from the big blind for around 50,000, being up against Jonas Lapinskas on the button.

Kevin Hasler: QJ All in
Jonas Lapinskas: AK

Lapinskas gained a flush draw on the 734 flop to diminish Hasler's outs. The 2 turn and 4 river remained clean as well, sending Hasler to the exit with only a few minutes left to reenter in this flight.

Ostrovskij Scores Double KO

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Marfil open-jammed for 52,000 in the hijack. Javier Marin called for 42,500 in the cutoff, and Albert Ostrovskij called as well in the big blind, covering both opponents.

Javier Marin: KJ All in
David Marfil: Q10 All in
Albert Ostrovskij: 1010

The 9594 flop and turn kept things interesting, but the river fell the boring 6 to see Ostrovskij scoop the pot and cross the half-million mark.

Vasseur Contemplates Folding Kings Before Doubling

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sylvain Vasseur open-raised in the hijack, and Christian Steinbo three-bet on the button. Vasseur responded with a four-bet to 52,000, after which Steinbo five-bet all in.

Vasseur's stack of 158,500 was covered, and he took some time to think things through. After a minute or so, he called for his tournament life.

Sylvain Vasseur: KK All in
Christian Steinbo: AQ

Vasseur found a set on the K5A flop, but the J turn kept things exciting. Steinbo did not hit Broadway on the 6 river, however, securing Vasseur a double-up.

Groenstroem Scoops Three-Way Clash to Cross Half a Million

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Rauno Tahvonen open-raised in the cutoff, seeing Krzysztof Chmielowski three-bet to 15,000 on the button. Hampus Groenstroem then called cold in the big blind, prompting Tahvonen to put in his stack of 67,500.

Chmielowski four-bet reshoved in response. Groenstroem spent some minutes in thought before he called off his large stack of 231,500, being covered by Chmielowski.

Rauno Tahvonen: 99 All in
Hampus Groenstroem: JJ All in
Krzysztof Chmielowski: AQ

Groenstroem flopped a set on Q3J. The K turn left Tahvonen drawing dead, and Chmielowski missed his straight draw on the 3 river as well.

The gargantuan pot was decided in Groenstroem's favor, seeing him breach ten starting stacks in chips.
