Heikkinen Hauls Huge Pot

On the 9♥6♣4♣ flop in a single-raised pot, Aleksi Heikkinen checked from the big blind to Juuso Parviainen on the button, who bet 3,500. Heikkinen then raised to 13,500, and Parviainen called.

Parviainen called again when Heikkinen bet 22,000 on the 2♠ turn, seeing his opponent place a check on the 6♠ river.

Parviainen took the opportunity to move all in for 48,400. Heikkinen agonized over his decision for a while, but ultimately decided he could not fold and tossed in a calling chip.

"Nice call," Parviainen said as he showed A♠4♠ for sixes and fours. Heikkinen had nines and sixes with A♥9♣, and he was awarded the six-figure pot to knock Parviainen out.

Picking up the action on a 6♥4♥2♣A♠3♣ river in a pot of around 50,000, Andrius Mazurkevicius got his stack of 62,500 in the middle from early position.

Andrei Piatrushchanka looked him up in middle position, but his 8x8x was no good against the K♠5♠ of Mazurkevicius, who had rivered a straight to scoop up the large number of chips in the middle.

Noyan made top set on the 10♣2♦9♣K♦ turn, but it also gave Gjelseth outs to a straight. The 7♦ river provided no excitement, however, as Gjelseth headed out.

At other tables, Enea Subashi scored an elimination to cross six starting stacks in chips, while Seppo Parkkinen knocked out two opponents at the same time with kings against queens against jacks, one of which was Jari Mahonen.

As recounted by Tobias ten Napel, he was heads up in a pot with Igor Pihela on the 4♦7♠7♦ flop. Pihela bet, and Ten Napel called. Pihela bet again on the 9♠ turn, and Ten Napel tossed in another call.

Pihela completed his triple-barrel on the 6♦ river, but this time Ten Napel raised. Pihela then moved all in over the top, and Ten Napel quickly called off.

Pihela could only show a pair of sixes with K♣6♣, leaving Ten Napel to take the pot with 4♠4♣ for a full house.

Mikko Ylamaki open-raised under the gun. Jussi Mattila then three-bet to 7,100 in the hijack, and Ylamaki called once the action had folded back to him.

Ylamaki check-called Mattila's bet of 2,600 on the J♦5♦A♠ flop, but check-folded when Mattila sized up to 9,100 on the 8♣ turn.

"Will you show one?" Ylamaki asked Mattila as he raked in the chips, and Mattila obliged by tabling the K♣.
