Bonsack Flops Quads; Eliminates Lee

Frank Lee - 8th Place Finisher
Frank Lee - 8th Place Finisher
Mark Bonsack and Frank Lee traded pre-flop raises before agreeing on a total price of 84,000 to see the flop after all was said and done.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Frank Lee immediately shoved the rest of his chips into the middle. Bonsack practically beat Lee into the pot, tabling {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for quads; Lee turned over the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and was drawing dead.

For his eighth-place finish, Frank Lee received $19,663 in prize money.

Ferguson Wins Pot A

For those of you unaware, "Pot A" is simply a player's first pot of a poker session. Facing a 13,000 pre-flop raise from Mark Bonsack, Ferguson re-popped it to 45,000. After some thought, Bonsack laid it down and Ferguson raked the pot.

Erdman Eliminated by Testa

Travis Erdman - 9th Place Finisher
Travis Erdman - 9th Place Finisher
Short stack Travis Erdman chose to make a move just five minutes after the first cards were dealt, opening with an all-in shove from late position. He was called rather quickly by Gabriel Testa, who tabled two black jacks; Erdman produced the {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

The {7-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop was a good one for Erdman, as he picked up an open-ended straight draw. The turn brought the {A-Spades}, lessening Erdman's outs, as it gave Testa nine outs to a flush, effectively stealing two of Erdman's outs to a straight. The {8-Spades} fell on the river, gving Testa a hand-clinching flush and a nice sized pot to start the afternoon.

For his ninth-place finish, Erdman picked up $14,239 in prize money.

Player Introductions

A sizeable crowd has gathered around the final table stage to welcome the Harvey's Lake Tahoe finalists as they are individually introduced by Nolan Dalla, doing his best Michael Buffer impression.

Hometown favorite Dustin Fox received an especially warm round of applause from the crowd, being the only final table participant who was born and raised in Lake Tahoe.
