Steuber Shoves; Shows a King

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Aleksei Ivanov grabbed the blinds and antes once, showing the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

Then, Thomas Erler raised to 110,000 from the cutoff and Tonino Schmitz called from the button. Jens Steuber moved all in and then showed the {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} when his opponents folded. Steuber said the hand was the "nuts" and Schmitz took the word for it, raising the hand after to steal the next blinds. Schmitz flashed the {K-Hearts} and said "king-nine," causing some chuckles from the table mates.

Schmitz Breaks Through Hansen's Domination

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Johnny Hansen raised to 100,000 and Thomas Erler called in the hijack, so did Mateusz Dziewonski in the big blind. Both players quickly folded to a continuation bet on the flop {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

One hand later, Tonino Schmitz raised to 100,000 and Hansen called in the big blind. On the flop {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Hansen check-called a continuation bet of 125,000 and then check-folded the {9-Spades} turn to a second barrel by Schmitz. It was more or less the first hand Hansen had to give up after the dinner break.

Hansen With Ultimate Pressure

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Johnny Hansen raised to 115,000 and Aleksei Ivanov defended his big blind to check-fold a flop of {3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Then Hansen stole the blinds and antes with a raise to 110,000 and limped one hand later. Thomas Erler checked his option in the big blind and they checked the flop {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. On the {K-Spades} turn, Hansen bet 50,000 and was called before firing 90,000 on the {10-Clubs} turn. Erler called both streets and then mucked once he was shown {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for top pair.

Last but not least, Mateusz Dziewonski raised to 100,000 and Hansen three-bet to 270,000 from one seat over on the button. The Pole gave it some thought and then folded. "I snap if you move," Hansen said to his table neighbor.

Steals and Co

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Mateusz Dziewonski limped in from the small blind and then folded to a raise of Johnny Hansen, who had squeezed to 175,000.

One hand later Tonino Schmitz raised to 105,000 from under the gun and sighed when showing {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}, very much remembering what happened at the end of the previous level.

Last but not least, Jens Steuber raised to 120,000 from under the gun and Schmitz "folded two queens", showing the {Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Winner Ceremony and Upcoming Live Stream

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

The winner of the Ladies Event of last night will receive her coveted WSOP Circuit ring and the live stream of the feature table will then get underway as soon as the cards are in the air. Since that comes with a security delay of 30 minutes, the initial updates will come from the secondary table only.
