Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Petr Jelinek
Petr Jelinek

Aleksei Ivanov raised from under the gun and Petr Jelinek as well as Antun Topic got their short stacks in the middle of the table. Ivanov called with the {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and Topic's cards were already in the muck as soon as the flop came {J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}.

Jelinek was also drawing dead already with the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} and the board filled up with the {4-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Zamiska got his stack of 45,000 in with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Topic called with the slightly inferior {Q-}{10-} to lost almost all his stack after the board filled up with the {A-Hearts} turn and {3-Hearts} river.

Gjurchinovski Busts Two

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Jerome Kobina Evans shoved his short stack of 25,000 from under the gun and Shakib Hamdam shoved from one seat over for around 55,000 chips. In the big blind, Georgi Gjurchinovski was having a decision and tanked for a long time. The clock was called on him and Gjurchinovski eventually called with the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Evans was at risk with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Hamdam held the {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The board ran out {K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and that was it for both short stacks.

Paul Ciaca Bluffs To Almost Double-Up

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

About 30 minutes ago, Romania's Paul Ciaca shared that he lost three straight showdowns. More recently, however, he won a big hand when he was able to get his opponent to fold to an all-in.

The action started when the player under the gun raised to 6,000 and the player to his left calling. Ciaca, who began the hand with about 65,000 chips three bet the action to 19,600 from the cut-off. The play under the gun folded, while his other opponent called.

Both players checked on a {Q-Spades}{10-}{2-}. Ciaca bet 18,000 on the {J-Spades} turn, which his opponent called. On an unknown river card, Ciaca jammed for his remaining 22,000 chips and his opponent folded. Ciaca shared with us he had {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for a nut-flush draw on the turn which didn't complete on the river.
