Steven Stephan

Steven Stephan continues to steamroll in the tournament. In the biggest pot of the day, Stephan scooped 450,000 after he went all-in and got Walter Theodor Vesti on a {K-}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-} board. Stephan, who played the hand from the big blind held the nuts with {j-}{9-}, while Vesti was overheard saying he folded {K-}{K-} for top set.

The Paul Ciaca Rollercoaster

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Every time we catch up with Paul Ciaca, he has more chips than he previously did. However, according to Ciaca not all is smooth as once again he dwindled his stack down to 65,000 before once again doubling back up to 140,000 when his {a-}{q-} held against his opponent's {a-}{j-}.

Markushevski Busts Langrock

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Sebastian Langrock had doubled up his stack to 84,000 with {A-}{A-} versus {A-}{Q-} and then three-bet jammed out of the small blind with {A-}{K-}. A short stack was in the big blind and folded his 10 bigs, but Markushevski took the flip with pocket nines and the board ran out eight-high.

Langrock immediately jumped into the Bounty Hunter ring event.
