The Poker Diva has doubled through Douglas Miranda, and taken down a couple more nice pots to get herself to about 35,000 in chips -- up from approximately 9,000 about five minutes ago.

Two of the top three chip stacks in the room are right next to each other. At table 6 (also the aforementioned Liz Lieu table), seat two is Douglas Miranda, who recently busted Alan Le to add another 30K to his stack. Seat three is Jason Gonong, who has been up near the top of the leaderboard for the last couple hours.

No, not watching this tournament. Phil Hellmuth and Shawn Sheikhan are playing Chinese poker on the cash side, and attracting quite the crowd. There is a nice line of spectators taking in the action on our side . . . oddly enough, many of them are gathering near Liz Lieu's table.
