Phil Ivey Doubles Up

Matt Brady raised to 775 from the button, the small blind called, Phil Ivey re-raised to 3,000, Brady re-raised to 8,000, the small blind folded, Ivey moved all in and Brady called. Brady showed A-Q, Ivey K-K. The board came {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Ivey doubled to 32,000. Brady was down to only 1,800 after the hand.

Joe Hachem Doubles Up

Joe Hachem moved all in from the small blind and Jason Strasser called, having him covered. Hachem showed {4-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Strasser tabled {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The flop was a miraculous {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for Hachem, the turn was the {6-Spades} and the river was the {A-Hearts}.

"The best hand won, as it should!" Hachem joked as he dragged the pot.
