New Start Time Announced

The cards are going to be in the air at 2:10 p.m. according to the last announcement. They will have to move quickly. Right now there are only dealers sitting at the tables. The players haven't even been allowed to take their seats yet. This may be a 20 yard dash before the heads-up matches start. Let's see who gets to their table first.

Projected Start Time of 1:00 p.m. Come and Gone

The projected start time of 1:00 p.m. has come and gone. Names are still being drawn and it will be a while before cards are in the air. It may take longer to draw all the names and start the first round then it will to play the first set of match-ups. Although it is taking a long time, everyone seems to be in good spirits.

The Second Half

We're now hearing the second half of the first-round pairings. They announced the players assigned to each table's Seat One, then they listed the players who received byes, and now they're announcing the players assigned to Seat Two. So, we still have a long ways to go before today's event begins.

Almost Done With The Byes

The list of byes we're posting isn't comprehensive, we're listing as many well-known players as we can, but this is a high-profile $5K event that seemingly every big-name player has entered. Including these big names:

Barry Greenstein, Gavin Griffin, Bill Gazes, Mike Sexton, Joe Cassidy, Phil Gordon, Carl Olson, Mark Seif, Tony G, Michael Mizrachi, Jamie Gold, Eric Froehlich, Juha Helppi, and Noah Boeken.

Still Drawing

The draw is still being announced to the room and right now they're announcing the players who received a first-round bye. We'll start listing those players as we hear them.

More On The Draw

As the names are announced they aren't listing them by match-up. They're announcing the player at Table 310, Seat 1, then the player at Table 311, Seat 1...you get the picture. So we won't know the match-ups until all the players are assigned, and then they'll be printing out the brackets and handing them out.
