Deeb Chops On River

Both players checked the flop, but the {A-Hearts}

on the turn caused Deeb to lead out for 6,500. His opponent called and the river brought the {3-Diamonds}

. Deeb made it 11,000 and was called. Both players made a full house, aces full of threes, and the pot was chopped.

Tilly Wins a Huge Pot

With almost 10,000 total chips in the middle by the turn, Jennifer Tilly called a raise from her opponent for 6,000.

The board: {6-Clubs}

Both players checked the river and Tilly showed {Q-Clubs}

, which was good enough to beat her opponent's ace high. Tilly's opponent was not eliminated but Tilly now has a commanding chip lead.

In his match against Patrik Antonious, Thomas Wahlroos was disappointed when Antonious folded preflop, in the small blind. Wahlroos let out a disappointed "No!" and turned over pocket aces.
