Gabriel Thaler Advances

After falling behind, Gabe Thaler doubled up when he moved all in with A-9 and was called by his opponent's A-8. That hand gave Thaler the lead and he closed out the match when he called an all-in bet with pocket threes. His opponent had A-3, didn't catch an ace, and Thaler advanced.

Gabriel Thaler Takes a Hit

Just as we were going to break, Gabriel Thaler had his opponent dominated with {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} vs. his {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} on a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, but the {10-Spades} spiked on the turn. The river was the {8-Clubs} and Thaler stormed off to break, kicking over a chair on his way out. Thaler still has chips, though.
