Animated as usual, Layne Flack bet 100 on a board showing {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, and was called by two players (seats 8 and 4).

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and this time Flack bet 200. Seat 8 called and seat 4 raised to 400. Flack then reraised to 600, adding "let it go..." as he tossed his chips into the pot.

The table talk worked, as both players mucked their hands, though probably not the way Layne would've liked as he turned over the nut-nut hand, {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Freddy Deeb is sitting one table over, feasting on a pre-tournament meal of lobster and crab legs and let me tell you, it smells very good!

He was kind enough to offer to share, but I had to turn it down, as I've already filled up on the gourmet ham and cheese sandwiches from the Rio's exquisite Poker Kitchen.

It's looking like a majority of the pros bypassed the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament today to take part in the the $5,000 Omaha event.

Event 36 is officially underway. We've got a considerably small field today, but the few that showed up to play are a very talented bunch.

The tournament is being held in the Player's Pavilion, as a result of the huge turnout for today's $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Tournament.
