A discussion broke out at Howard Lederer and Daniel Alaei's table regarding the skill involved in poker and whether or not it should be banned under the new gaming legislation.
Both Howard and Daniel spoke in support of legalizing the online game in a friendly debate with an unknown player at their table.
On a board showing , Roland says "that's my flop." After the action checked around to DeWolfe, he said "let me check . . . ." The player to Roland's left then checked, and the dealer started to burn and turn the next card when Roland tossed out his last 600 in chips.
The dealer paused, and said "you checked." Another player spoke up on Roland's behalf, explaining that he meant "let me check my cards."
The dealer then allowed the bet, which was called by two players. The action was then checked the rest of the way down, and the turn and river came .
Roland's opponents would end up chopping the pot with a pair of Jacks for the high, and an A-4 low, which sent Roland home early.
It took the floormen a solid 5 minutes to sort out an issue at Men "The Master"'s table, in which Men claimed he was tabling his cards, while the rest of the table insisted he'd mucked them.
Men claimed he'd turned over Q-Q-8-3, for a Queen high straight, while the rest of the table said they only saw him flip over the queens.
The floor eventually laid the decision in the hands of the dealer, who sided with the rest of the players at the table, and Men's hand was mucked.
