Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr
Betting from early position, Shorr made it 900 to go and was called by a middle position player, when another middle position player raised it to 4,000. Shorr turned over A-K, the original caller turned over A-J, and the raiser turned over pocket queens.

Board: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

From First To Worst

While it's not uncommon to hear one of those epic uproars that come from a table when something unusual happens...this particular one called for some exploration. It seems three players were all-in preflop, one of them holding {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, another showed {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and the third felt compelled to call with {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}. The flop came down {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The player with aces was speechless. The turn and river came {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and two more players have gone home with nothing more than a story to tell.
