Texas Dolly Showing He's Still Got It

Doyle Brunson made a 7-6-3-2-A low and did his part in getting just a little closer to his 11th bracelet. Brunson bet the whole way and got two-way action on his hand. At showdown, Doyle's high was no good, as another play had two pair, but his low was best and he split the pot and the third player was eliminated. The elder Brunson is sitting comfortably with 3,200.

After being short-stacked for most of the evening, Thomas Wahlroos is making a comeback. And he believes it's all thanks to his new luck charm. Wahlroos had a K showing and looked down to see two kings in the hole. Wahlroos boated on 6th, the same street on which another player made two pair and a third had trip sevens showing (with the case seven exposed in another hand).

Wahlroos tripled up and is now feeling good about his first Stud H/L event.
