. Turk checked. Sterling bet 3,500 again and Turk re-raised to 7,000. Sterling three-bet to 32,500. Turk folded.

Sterling now has 57,000 and Turk has 43,000.

Bill Blanda Advances to Round 2

After a lengthy heads-up battle, Bill Blanda has outlasted Jacques Zaicik to move on to Round 2. Here's how the final hand went down:

When the hand began, Blanda had close to a 3-to-1 chip lead over Zaicik. Blanda raised to 3,600 from the small/blind button, Zaicik re-raised to 10,000, Blanda then pushed all in, and Zaicik made the call.
