Pete de Best moved all in from under the gun for 71,000 and Adam Katz made the call. Katz showed while de Best held pocket threes. Katz spiked a king on the flop and eliminated de Best from the field.
Patri Friedman moved in his last 110,000 before the flop with and Jason Sanders called with . Friedman didn't improve on the board and he was eliminated. After dropping a lot of chips in the previous hand Sanders has now bounced back to 590,000.
After dropping down to 120,000 when his A-K ran into aces, Duncan Bell built his stack back up when he was involved in a three-way all-in with Jason Manger and Adam Katz. Katz held A-10, Manger with K-9, and Bell with pocket rockets.
The flop came and though both Katz and Manger picked up draws, neither of them were completed by the river. Bell nearly tripled up to 420,000 while Manger was knocked out of the event. Katz is down to 226,000 after the hand.
Jason Sanders raised to 40,000 form middle position and Brent Ditzik moved all in for his last 240,000. Sanders made the call and his was way ahead of Ditzik's , but Ditzik hit a set on the flop and when Sanders didn't catch a queen, Ditzik doubled to 485,000 while Sanders slipped to 340,000.

Theo Tran's quest to make his third final table of the 2008 World Series came to an end when he moved in the last of his chips from the small blind holding . Brent Hanks called in the big blind with but he connected on the flop and though Tran picked up a gutshot draw on the turn he didn't improve on the river and was eliminated.
Pete de Best raised to 30,000 and Nathan Doudney moved all in for his last 120,000. De Best thought a bit before finally making the call with A-K to Doudney's pocket eights.
De Best flopped a king and the rest of the hand looked to be a mere formality...when the spiked on the river. De Best put his hands on his head in disbelief as the pot was pushed the other way, and he's now down to around 80,000. Doudney sits with around 290,000.
Preflop, Adam Katz made it 26,000 to go from middle position. Duncan Bell called, as did the player on the button and small blind. Frank Vukasin, from the big blind, moved all in for another 110,000 on top. Katz got out of the way, but Duncan Bell, who had Frank covered, moved all in as well and everyone else folded.
Bell showed A-K while Frank held pocket kings. The kings held up for Frank and after the hand he is up to 410,000.
In a battle of the blinds Joel Casper limped and Brent Ditzik raised to 35,000. Casper then shoved for his last 100,000 and Ditzik made the call. His trailed Casper's and though Ditzik picked up a gutshot straight draw by the turn he didn't get there on the river and Casper doubled up to around 280,000.
Nicolas Levi raised preflop to 30,000 and Steven Merrifield raised to 80,000. Levi moved all in for his remaining chips and Steven laid down the hand. After the hand, Steven is down to 450,000 while Levi is up over 600,000.
John Roveto moved all in for his last 98,000 before the flop and Samuel Rosenzweig called in the small blind for his 35,000. Rosenzwieg's trailed Roveto's but the flop put him in the lead. Roveto picked up a gutshot straight draw on the flop and after the fell on the turn Roveto spiked the on the river to make his straight and eliminate Rosenzweig. Roveto now sits with 170,000.
