This Just In...

Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi has defeated opponent John 'Tex' Barch and secured himself a spot in the round of 64.

After his match, Michael made his way over to his big bro's table (Robert) and jokingly pulled up a seat behind Robert's opponent Jeff Lisandro as if to sweat his cards.

Bonomo Sends Gordon Packing

On a flop of {9-?} {7-?} {3-?}, Phil Gordon passed the first action to Justin Bonomo who led out with a bet. Gordon then check-raised Bonomo, putting himself all in and Bonomo made the call with 9-6; Gordon tabled Q-8 for nothing but air.

A nine on the turn left Gordon drawing dead and sent Bonomo on to the round of 64.

Scott Montgomery Advances

Scott Montgomery raised to 8,000, enough to put Cristian Rajala all in. Rajala made the call.

Rajala {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}

Montgomery {K-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}

The flop was {5-Hearts} {4-Spades} {2-Spades}, the turn was the {9-Spades}, but the {A-Spades} spiked on the river, pairing Rajala but making a wheel for Montgomery. Rajala hit the rail and Montgomery will move on to Round 3.

His cash in the heads up now makes three in the money finishes for Montgomery this series.

Hawkins {K-Diamonds} {5-Spades}

Roberts {K-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

The turn was the {6-Spades}, the river was the {4-Spades} and Roberts advanced to the third round, eliminating Hawkins.
