Howard Lederer
Howard Lederer
Lederer raised to 600 from UTG and it folded back around to the big blind who pushed all in, making it 1,400 more for Lederer to call.

After a bit of thought, Lederer decided against it and folded. "Oh!" said Lederer, with some ambiguity, when the BB then showed pocket jacks.

Schneider Gathering Chips

From the hijack seat, 2007 WSOP Player of the Year Tom Schneider ended up capping the betting versus the player in the small blind. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}, the SB checked, Schneider bet, and the SB called. The turn was the {2-Spades}. The SB checked, Schneider bet again, and this time the SB went away.

Schneider is up around 30,000.

E-Fro Punches E-Ticket

Eric "E-Fro" Froehlich raises to 1,200 and John Myung reraises to 1,800. Froehlich three-bets it to 2,400 and Myung calls. The flop is {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. Froehlich bets 600, Myung calls. The turn is the {J-Spades}. Froehlich bets 1,200 and Myung puts him all in. Froehlich calls with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Myung shows {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Froehlich is drawing dead and is eliminated. Myung is up to the starting stack of 10,000.

Black Bamboozled

Andy Black
Andy Black
An interesting limit hand on Andy Black's table. A player in middle position raised, the button called, and Black three-bet from the small blind. The MP player called, then the button appeared desirous to call, but inadvertently pushed extra chips in doing so. Black insisted the button's bet constituted a raise to four bets, and it was eventually determined that it was. Black called, as did the MP player.

The flop came out {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Black bet, and both of his opponents called. The turn was the {8-Spades}. Black bet again, the MP player folded, and the button called. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Black checked. The button bet and Black called, showing A-Q-offsuit. The button turned over {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}, good enough to take the pot.

Lederer Slays the Dragon

Howard Lederer raised from the cutoff and Pham called the two bets from the button, leaving himself less than one bet. Before the flop came out, Pham announced he was all in in the dark.

The flop came {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and Lederer called Pham's bet. The flop had been kind to the Dragon, who held {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, while Lederer tabled {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. A queen on the turn gave Lederer more outs, and one of them -- an ace -- came on the river to knock out Pham.

Lederer now has 13.800.

Bride of Chucked

Jennifer Tilly is all in with A-K versus the {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} of her opponent. The board runs out {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Tilly is down to 400. Soon after, she is all in for 400 and three other players call, including Ted Lawson. Lawson bets the other players out on the side on a flop of 7-3-8, and shows 10-8 to Tilly's 3-3. The turn and river are 7-8 and Tilly is out.
