Olarnick Out

Edward Clark opened with a raise to 17,000 and Daniel Olarnick called all in for his last 14,000. The cards were tabled with Olarnick's {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} in trouble against the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} of Clark.

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Clark wins with kings and deuces to move to 145,000 and send Olarnick to the rail.

A Masterful Double Up

Men Nguyen found the last of his chips in the middle preflop holding {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to find himself dominated by the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} of Anthony Campagna.

The board landed {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Nguyen spikes a three-outer on the river to take the pot and move to over 80,000 chips. Campagna was left shaking his head with only 16,000 in front of him.

Amarillo Slim Preston Eliminated
One of the legends of the poker world, Amarillo Slim Preston, has been eliminated after a tremendous showing in this event.

In his final hand, Charles Wood opened with a raise, Slim reraised, before Wood pushed all in.

Slim exclaimed "You've got to be kidding!" before declaring "It's getting late and the boss has got a date! I call!"

Slim showed {J-Hearts}{J-Spades} but was in trouble as Wood tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Wood hits a set to eliminate Amarillo Slim in roughly 90th place.

As he stood to exit the floor, the entire Brasilia Room stood and acknowledged Slim's departure with a generous round of applause.

Slim removed his hat, waved to the room saying "Thank you everybody" before exiting the tournament area.

Some Goldem Slim Moments

Amarillo Slim doubled up an opponent after calling his all in with just a flush draw holding {K-Spades}{2-Clubs} on a board of {5-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Spades}. Unfortunately for Slim, his opponent held {10-Spades}{Q-Spades} for the flopped flush. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and river the {9-Diamonds} as the pot was sent to his opponent.

A few moments later, Slim was able to recover some chips after some aggressive betting on a flop of {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}. Slim got his opponent to fold A-Q face up as Slim said "Pocket kings" before flashing 8-2! "Oh I guess I need to get some glasses!"
