The Master Suspicious

Men "The Master" Nguyen raised from late position to 7,000 before Wayne Stanford moved all in. Tim Sciscoe flat called from the button and the action folded to Nguyen.

Nguyen questioned Sciscoe as to why he would just flat call there, and suspecting something strange he folded K-Q face up.

Stanford showed {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} but Sciscoe held {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}!

The board ran out {2-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Stanford is eliminated as Sciscoe moves to 79,000 chips.

Waite is Over

Harold Waite, born 1917, the oldest entrant in this event, has been eliminated. 91 years young and still cashing in the WSOP...

Way to go Harold!

Dennis Richardson Eliminated

With about 15,000 in the middle preflop, Dennis Richardson fired out 12,000 on a flop of {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} before Greg Alston check-raised all in. Richardson went into the tank with a decision for his tournament life. He agonized for several minutes before making the call.

It proved to be the right call as he tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for the lead against Alston's {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} but the river was a repeat {7-Spades} to give Alston trip sevens and eliminate Richardson from the tournament.

Bob Autrey Eliminated

G David Hays raised it up from the cutoff to 8,000 and Bob Autrey moved all in from the button for 27,000 in total. Hays made the call.

Hays: {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Autrey: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} to give Hays two pair to send an unlucky Autrey home.

Avery Cardoza Recovers

Avery Cardoza has recovered some chips after getting it all in preflop with pocket fours against his opponent's pocket jacks.

However a four peeled off on the turn to give Cardoza a set and the hand.

"I lost three straight with the best hand then win with the worst hand!" laughed Cardoza as he raked in the pot to now sit with 46,000 chips.

Mike Comer Eliminated

Mike Comer raised to 9,000 from the small blind before Edmond Schwartz re-raised to 18,000 from the big blind. Comer moved all in for an additional 14,000 and Schwartz made the call.

Comer: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Schwartz: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{A-Spades} and after some confusion from Comer who thought he won the pot with his set, the pot was pushed to Schwartz for his straight to send Comer to the growing payout line.

Reason For Break

The reason for the break was the excessive line at the cash out table. After the bubble burst people were falling fast and the line was getting out of control, so the Harrah's staff ordered a 10 minute break so the line could dissipate.

The break is now over and play has resumed.
