The action on this gets a little confusing, so hang with me. OK? Here we go. A player in early position raised to 850. Chris McCormack called, as did another player. A player a few spots along raised to 4,400. The original raiser folded, and McCormack moved all in for 14,475. The player who'd just flat-called the original raise called McCormack's raise as well. And the guy who made that 4,400 reraise? Yeah, he folded. Got that? Good.

Anyway, McCormack turned over {A-Spades}

to his opponent's {J-Hearts}

. The board ran out {10-Clubs}

and McCormack and his aces picked up a tidy pot that boosted his stack to 34,800.

John Duthie Doubles Up Through Mike Schneider

On a flop of {4-Diamonds}

, John Duthie moved all in against Mike Schneider and Schneider called.

Duthie: {4-Hearts}

Schneider: {A-Spades}

The turn of the {9-Spades}

helped neither player and the river of the {4-Spades}

gave Duthie a full house. After the hand, Duthie moved up to 62,500 chips. Schneider is down to 5,000.

Thomas Hover Eliminated

Peter Krieg raised from middle position and action folded around to Thomas Hover in the big blind. Hover moved all in for just over 10,000 and Krieg made the call. The players showed:

Hover:

Hover was dominated from start to finish as the board ran out {7-Clubs}

. He was eliminated and Krieg climbed to just over 30,000 on the hand.

Farzad Bonyadi Eliminated

Farzad Bonyadi was eliminated from today's Main Event by Markus Golser. We were unable to see the hand, so we asked Golser for details. When we asked about the Bonyadi elimination, his reply was "ya, I remember his elimination. I busted him."

The board on the turn was {A-?}

. Bonyadi was all in turn with {K-?}

against Golser who held {10-?}

. Golser had the straight. The board failed to pair, nor did a ten fall, and Bonyadi was eliminated.

Go Go Markus Golser

Whatever Markus Golser had during dinner, it must have lit a fire under him as he has been kicking up the aggression since the dinner break. He has taken three out of the last four pots at his table. At first it was looking that he might be waiting for antes but that no longer appears to be the case.

Matias Patino raised to 2,000 preflop. Luigi Petrone reraised him to 7,000. Patino quickly put his whole stack, 9,500, in the pot. Petrone reluctantly called.

Patino: {K-Diamonds}

Petrone:

Everything was looking good for Patino until the {9-Clubs}

hit the river to make a set for Petrone and knock out Patino.

"I knew he had kings, but I was already committed so I had to call no matter what," said Petrone after the hand.

Sean Hildreth raised preflop to 1,500 and was called by only Manuel Bevand. Both players checked the {8-Clubs}

flop. When the turn came {4-Clubs}

, Hildreth bet 4,000. Bevand quickly raised all in, which was enough to put Hildreth all in. Hildreth made the call with {Q-Diamonds}

but was behind Bevand's {8-Hearts}

. The river added insult to injury; it came {8-Spades}

to make quads for Bevand.

Hildreth was eliminated on the hand.
