James Estle Doubles Up

Board: {7-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}

On the river, Denise Molloy bet 35,000 and then Estle pushed forward his chips and said that he said all in. Molloy claimed that Estle just said, "Call." Estle only had around 3,000 left behind when he pushed his chips forward.

The floorman was called and when he got to the table, some players said that they heard "Call," while others said they heard "All in." The dealer said that he did not hear anything said at all. Finally, the floor ruled that Estle was all in.

Estle showed {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds} for tens up with an ace. Molloy showed {10-Hearts} {9-Clubs} for tens up as well, but with only a nine kicker.

After the hand, Estle moved up to 106,000 in chips and Molloy moved down to 62,100.

The Champ has Fallen

Former Main Event winner Robert Varkonyi has just been eliminated by Donald Georgeme. Georgeme raised to 2,200 before Varkonyi moved all in for 23,000 with {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}. Georgeme made the call with {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}.

The board came {2-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {8-Clubs}. The ace on the turn was enough to send Varkoni to the rail.

Mr. Haney Eliminates a Player

Four players, including Kevin Haney and Jeremy Ausmus saw a flop of {A-Hearts} {7-?} {4-Hearts}. Haney bet 2,000 and Ausmus and one other player called it.

On the turn of the {2-Hearts}, Haney bet out 7,000 and then Ausmus moved over the top all in for 17,000. Only Haney made the call.

Haney showed {6-Hearts} {5-Hearts} for the flush, while Ausmus showed {A-?} {2-?} for aces up. The river of the {3-Diamonds} sent Ausmus to the rail and moved Haney up to 84,600 in chips.

Paul Is Dead

Paul Wasicka has been low in chips all day. Down to his last 6,500, he raised all in with {K-Spades}{5-Hearts} and was up against Jeff Rubic's {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The flop wasn't good for Wasicka -- {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The {A-Hearts} on the turn did give him a flush draw. But the river brought the {7-Clubs}, and Wasicka's day is done.

Trond Eidsvig Busted

Trond Eidsvig had just been eliminated in unfortunate circumstances. He was sitting on the button and hadn't realized there had been a raise from a player under the gun. He pushed all in, thinking he was opening the pot. The player under the gun called with {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} and Eidsvig would need a lot of help for his {9-Spades} {K-Diamonds}.

It didn't come and one of the hottest players in Europe right now is gone.

Hammer!

Looks like Nghia Le is aware of the power of the hammer (7-2). Either that, or players at his table decided to play the seven-deuce game. Either way, Le busted Anthony Gregg by betting 6,075 on the river of a {4-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {2-Spades} {7-Hearts} board, then calling with {7-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} when Gregg raised all in for 18,000 total. Gregg never showed his hand, choosing instead to muck and leave the table.

Le now has about 102,000 chips.

Betting For Value: The Sverre Sundbo Story

Sverre Sundbo raised to 2,100 from UTG and the button called. The flop was {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and they checked again. The river was the {J-Hearts}. Sundbo bet 5,000 and the button called.

The button played the straight on the board, but Sundbo had {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts} for the flush and picked up some chips with a nice value bet.

Tony Ma Sunk by Quads, Survives

On a flop of {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds} Donald Sinkhorn checked from the small blind, Tony Ma bet 1,500 and Sinkhorn called. The turn was the {K-Hearts}. Sinkhorn checked again and Ma checked behind. The river was the {Q-Hearts} and both players checked again.

Sinkhorn turned up {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}, having flopped quads and Ma mucked. Ma was left with only 14,000 after the hand.
