Allie Prescott Likes Kings

Limit Hold'em:

Allie Prescott raised from UTG, James Van Alstyne called on the button and Joe Tehan called from the big blind. The flop came down {J-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {4-Spades}. Tehan led out, Prescott raised, Van Alstyne called and Tehan folded. The turn was the {6-Hearts}. Prescott bet and Van Alstyne called. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Prescott bet one more time. Van Alstyne called.

Prescott turned up {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} and Van Alstyne mucked. Prescott is now up to 155,000.

Hanson Sung Their Final Tune

Limit Hold'em:

No it wasn't Mmmm-bop, that crazy pop hit beloved by so many of the internet kids.

Adam Friedman raised from the button, Steve Sung raised all in and John Hanson called all in.

Friedman: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Sung: {7-Spades} {6-Spades}
Hanson: {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades}

The board was {Q-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} and Friedman eliminated both players.

"Must be nice!" shouted someone from the rail.

Pros on the Rail: Cyndy Violette

Fresh from her induction into the Women's Poker Hall of Fame, Cyndy Violette has arrived in the Amazon Room and appears to be sweating Mike Wattel over at Table 70.

Even more newsworthy is her outfit-- a short black dress with a feathered skirt and sky-high strappy sandals.

Hawrilenko Is Not Brian's Powell.

Omaha-8:

With the board reading {7-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}, Brian Powell bet 16,000 and Matt Hawrilenko raised to 32,000. Michael Binger tanked for ages before folding to leave himself very short. Powell made the call and the {7-Clubs} hit the river.

Powell check-called and Hawrilenko showed {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {4-Hearts} {3-Hearts} for queens full while Powell flipped {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} {10-Diamonds} for a huge turn hand, top two with a straight and flush draw that was second best.

Xavier Laszcz Eliminated by Allie Prescott

Pot-limit Omaha:

Xavier Laszcz raised to 10,500 from the cutoff, Allie Prescott potted from the small blind, Laszcz moved all in for 38,000 and Prescott called.

Laszcz {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {6-Spades} {5-Clubs}
Prescott {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {10-Hearts} and Prescott took it down with queens up, sending Laszcz to the rail.

Prescott is up to 135,000 in chips.

He Serock's Lindgren's World

Limit Hold'Em:

Erick Lindgren is out after he got shown {5-?} {5-?} by Joe Serock on a board of {8-?} {5-?} {6-?} {5-?} {4-?}.

That left Lindgren with just 10,000 which all went in with {Q-?} {9-?} against David Chiu's {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} on a {2-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {7-?} board.

We're down to 33.

Oh, Canada!

2-7 Triple Draw:

Marc Karam opened for a raise from early position, Vitaly Lunkin three-bet from the cutoff and Karam called all in. Karam drew two, two again, then one card while Lunkin stayed pat.

Karam ended up with 8-5-4-3-2 against Lunkin's T-6-5-4-2 and doubled up.

Only a few hands later, Karam found himself all in again.

Limit Hold'em:

With the board reading {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} on the turn, Ville Wahlbeck led out from the small blind, Karam raised from the big blind, Wahlbeck three-bet and Karam called all in.

Karam {10-Hearts} {3-Hearts}
Wahlbeck {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts}

Karam caught two pair on the turn and Wahlbeck couldn't catch up on the river. Karam took down the pot and doubled again, his stack now up to 115,000.
